Whilst visiting the area, we popped in after reading great reviews! very busy, and not a surprise! the pies were gorgeous!! and the glazed doughnuts were just YUM. Excellent price too! Will definitely be back.

The queues of tourists and locals said it all. I had a choppy oppie (she may have been pulling my leg but it tasted good. Chelsea bun style)

We visited the Paul Jones Bakery at the Easter Weekend in April 2017. Wow! What an amazing bakery - The pies are incredible. Popped in for 2 scotch pies, Had soup and a roll and a few other tasty goodies. Scotch pies were brilliant, soup was wonderful. Such a great bakery. Service was friendly and helpful. Top marks.

Popped in to get a pie because of the reviews on here. Didn't regret it. Went with steak and haggis. Absolutely spot on. One of the best pies I've had.

Phenomenal. Quality bakery, steak pies & cakes are the best. I live 200 miles away & have put this place in my sat-nav! 😆

Lovely bakery. Passing by as tourists, we saw the queue out the door and knew it must be good. Sausage roll, steak pie, scotch pie all excellent. Also tried a selection of cookies and cakes, superb. Enjoyed eating outside in the nearby park.
