Absolutely first class meal we had tonight. It's been 10 years plus since we've been there but it's been a long time coming for the original boys to come back. If you want authentic Chinese food, this is the place to be.
Absolutely fantastic, would thoroughly recommend! Had a spicy noodle dish as well as the prawns, both were delicious.
By the way, what a meal. Food was amazing, service was great. These other folk are off their heeds to give it 2 or 3 stars. Well done.

Been to Maxin's many, many times and, being no stranger to Chinese/Cantonise food I absolutely love the food. The salt & pepper ribs are unquestionably the best you will ever enjoy (i always order a double portion - greed I know). The dim-sum is also worth mention. Never had a bad meal here and can highly recommend.

Great food & atmosphere although felt a little cold...heating needed turned up a bit. Lovely polite helpful staff. Love this restaurant, especially for lunch. Can't wait to go back! Also visited for sisters birthday & they were very helpful in bringing out cake etc
The food is lovely, couldn't fault my chilli prawns and special chow mein but my husband did say his lamb stir fry was a little salty. The owners could do with putting the heating on, I ate my meal with my jacket on the entire time. Waiting staff very friendly and helpful, however. Will go back when the weather is warmer.
