Great wee place.. We had buffet menu, fantastic food and service is great also. Would definitely recommend.
Last night I have been in for meal �. Service was excellent. � food is delicious �. Definitely highly recommended. If you live in the Kirkcaldy you must visit The Prince.
Been eating the fab currys from the prince for many years,Occasionally eat in restaurant but usually a take away great food great staff�

Best Asian Food in Kirkcaldy, staff friendly and helpful and prices are cheapest in town for the best food. Banguet at night is wonderful for just £11,

Probably the best indian in the old town of kirkcaldy, pleasant and friendly staff, excellent food and good atmosphere, would highly recommend the prince to anyone that enjoys as good ruby murray
Fantastic service, from being greeted the moment we walked in the front door through the rest of our evening. Poppadums' and dips were brought to the table within minutes and drink orders taken quickly to allow us to relax while we chose from the menu. All the starters and main courses were beautiful, with Tandoori Starter for 2 on the sizzle plate being a highlight. Great value for money as well. I've used the Prince for many years and have never had a bad meal. Look forward to returning again soon.
The food is good and reasonably priced but the staff! One never smiled once the whole time we were there. They stand in a stairway watching you eat your food which is very off putting. They need to sort the sound system out as it constantly cuts out. We did mention it but nothing done.
We didn’t even gets chance to put out bums on the seats when they were at the table asking for our drink order. Sort this out and you would have a nice place to visit.
This is an amazing restaurant that we can highly recommend. The food is amazing the service is fantastic. We will be back for sure.

Best lamb Rogan Josh I've had for a long time. Delivered early, fresh and hot, really tasty. Same goes for the nan bread, couldn't fault it, excellent value and delivery service

The Prince is by far the best Indian in Scotland. Myself and my family regularly travel through from Glasgow purely because nothing else compares. The staff make you feel like family and the food is superb. For over 20 years the service has been second to none and the staff think nothing of going the extra mile. I implore you to try here- Visit for the dinner service and you wont be disappointed. You will not find another restaurant like The Prince, the prices are more than fair, in fact they should probably be charging more for the portions they provide. Ive never written a review for anywhere before but cant think of anywhere that deserves to be recognised more.

Food of Princes
You start off with a wee onion bhaji, and a chicken pakora or two
Followed by a chicken kashmiri and a spicy, hot vindaloo
The waitress asks if you're enjoying your meal, with your mouth full of food
You mumble and cough as you spit out some rice, saying its very good
To calm down the heat of the hot vindaloo, you take a wee sip of some wine
Whilst looking around at customers there, all loving coming here for to dine
The naan bread and rice fair fill up your tum, but there's still a desert to go
So it's ice-cream and fruit in a tiny wee dish, just to put on a show
You finish your meal and sit back in your seat, happy and full up and chilled
When the waitress comes back with the card machine and you realised you have been billed
You pay for your meal and put on your coat and start to head for the door
With a fond farewell from the waitress, you say you'll be back once more
And, true to your word, on various occasions, you've been back, many times since
For meals that are positively fit for a king, and served up by the Prince

Had the 3 course lunch earlier which comprised of a prawn cocktail and chicken pakora as the two starters. Both starters were fresh and flavourful and as good as you can get.
The mains we tried a standard curry and korma which again were simply flawless. The naan bread was amongst the best I've ever tasted. The sides of rice and chips were not an after thought but also made fresh.
The atmosphere, cleanliness and welcoming staff made us feel at ease instantly. The star of the show being Ali. His recommendations were on point. That man needs a pay rise!
Price wise for lunch for 3 courses and a soft drink it worked out about a tenner a head so the value for money was the least I've ever paid matched with the best Indian food ever this place is nothing short of a 10/10. Will be back definitely.
Went for lunch today - absolutely delicious best chicken tikka I’ve ever tasted. Everything was so fresh, piping hot and tasted amazing. Can’t recommend highly enough if you want delicious authentic Indian food and such lovely staff - just brilliant 🤩.

Always polite and friendly service, eating in or take away. A really good menu and portions sizes are good. Food is always really nice and I would highly recommend going in for a meal. We have had a couple of mistakes on delivery, including last Christmas. Although a pain, these were quickly dealt with.
