We have been for the buffet twice now, the food is excellent and the service is extremely polite and helpful. We booked a table both times early evening and just as well because it really fills up. They also do a busy trade in take aways. I would have no hesitation in recommending this as the place to go for a Indian food in Kirkcaldy. The Peshwari nan is the best I have tasted.

The best curry place in town. We all went for the buffet, there was a great choice and excellent quality of food. The staff are very attentive. We normally order takeaways which are just as good but it's nice to get to the restaurant every now and again.

Probably one of the best Indian meals I've ever eaten and the fact that the place was very busy on a Monday evening tells it's own story

Can't Be Faulted. Tucked away at the end of High Street is this little gem. In the door and right away I'm greeted by the friendly staff who usher me to a table. The interior is, I'm happy to say, traditional and all the carpets, seats and decor are spotlessly clean and tidy. I had the lunch deal (3 courses for £4:95) which was great value and very tasty. The fact the restaurant was full on a cold wet Wednesday afternoon says it all really. Mr Singh and his staff really are the best and you are treated like royalty. Highly recommended.

Seriously impressed! Was.... Seriously impressed!

Was getting a little disheartened with my local Indian restaurants in Dunfermline so on the reccomendations from Urban Spoon I thought I give this place a crack.

Figured I'd try a lunch first to scout the place out. They do an unbelievably cheap deal from midday to half two I think. I arrived about 1pm ish to an already busy restaurant which was a good sign straight away. I was with 6 friends n family 4 of which kept us waiting for 20mins as they had trouble parking. However the waiters n waitress where very patient.

The choices on the set menu where adequate enough to please all of my group and we decided what we wanted quite swiftly. What I like to do with a new place is order the most popular run of the mill dishes so I can compare the quality to other restaurants I've visited. I went for the Veg Pakora for my starter. Our food came pretty quickly and I was immediately pleased with the presentation. The Pakora was perfect, spicy kick but not overwhelming, good amount of food and nice fresh onions n lettuce on the side. The real winner however was the Pakora dipping sauce! Wow you have to try it to realise how nice it is. I totally smothered mine lol. I also tried my friends Chicken Pakora which was brilliant too. Oh yeah n not forgetting the poppadoms with that lovely pickle sauce.

We then moved onto our mains which I chose Chicken Tikka Masala. Once again the speed of service was great! I was initially served a plate of Pilau rice, then one of those little bowls they like to serve the curry in. We also ordered a couple of garlic naan breads.

Once again the whole group where really satisfied with the quality of the meat in the dishes and the wonderful sauces. Also the portion size was spot on. I was def full at this point, but not uncomfortably so. I still managed a wee taste of my friends Korma.

Finally we all finished off with Ice creams. I'm so glad I've discoved this wee gem of a place! Can't wait to go back. All the staff where friendly n welcoming. I know I shouldn't say this as I'm sure it's a little inappropriate but they had the cutest wee waitress ever! Right wee stunner.

100% sure I'm going back ASAP as I hear the buffet held every night is fantastic. I think they even serve several puddings on the buffet one of which is my absolute favourite Ras malai.

Didn’t dine in - but ordered delivery after stopping nearby after a 15+ (really 24+ awake) travel day from the states and it was exactly what we wanted. Spicy, flavorful, perfectly prepared! Loved everything we had and are looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow. Would love to dine in next time we’re not prohibitively jetlagg’d.

Whenever we visit Kirkcaldy, this restaurant tends to be the reason for our visit - we are traveling from Glasgow and South Lanarkshire just for this place, because the food is THAT good! The place is very popular and I highly recommend booking in advance before you visit, otherwise you might be disappointed being unable to get a table and having to eat elsewhere - we've had that happen before, so lesson learnt, we now book a day in advance. The food is fantastic and good value for money, especially if you buy the chicken tikka masala, as it comes with either pilau rice or nan bread. The desserts are really reasonably priced at £3.50 to £3.99. I can highly recommend the after dinner mint sundae! The staff are very efficient, friendly and polite. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Kirkcaldy. My only gripe, is the restaurant is small and the booths are very cramped, especially if you also have shopping bags with you. It is worth visiting early, as it gets busy quickly and the atmosphere can quickly become very noisy. I really highly recommend this place for great food and a great service. Two thumbs up!

Haven`t been here in years as the last experience was terrible. Heard great things so went tonight. So glad we did. Lamb curry had plenty meat and spiciness just right for me. Wife loved her chicken tikka massala too. Garlic naan actually tasted of garlic and can still taste it 3 hours later lol. Service was quick and friendly. Will certainly be back in the near future. The place a few doors along can bolt.

First time visiting this restaurant. The restaurant was busy but made room for us. The staff were friendly and helpful, advising us on the choices we made (ingredients, spiciness, etc). The food came quickly and was very tasty. I would recommend sharing a Naan bread as they are enormous. We will definitely be visiting again.

We have been there loads of times, love it, young waitress that served us today was brilliant I asked if there was a curry I could have between a korma and Dopiaza, she recommended the tikka Masala I wasn’t sure she said if I didn’t like it I could change it, was a brilliant decision, she did come back to see that I was happy with it, service and food amazing staff brilliant and friendly, can’t wait to go back now that I’ve found my favourite, keep up the amazing work.

Went in for lunch. Had the 12.95 3 course. Excellent value for money. Had veg pakora. Then jalfrazi chicken with a superb nan bread followed by coffee. I could have had desert but was full.

Four of us went out for an evening meal and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The place is smaller than expected but big enough to cater for larger groups easily. The staff were warm and inviting and helped us with our coats. A great start. We weren't rushed to order either food or drinks and were given plenty time to check the menu which was well organised and had really good descriptions of the dishes there. The food was great. Really well presented and tasted amazing. The spice levels were just right with one of us preferring milder food. Honestly a well prepared and tasty set of Currys. Although calling them Currys is a poor way to describe the diversity of flavours and textures that exploded on our tongues. The nann breads were the best I have ever tasted. Cooked to perfection. The starters were not huge, (not tiny either), but the perfect size as an appetizer. The restaurant was full but the staff had it under control and no one seemed flustered or rushed. I recommend this place whether you're a tandoori fan or not. They cater to all tastes. AND, Not expensive. Give it a try I don't think you will be disappointed.

This will sound like hyperbole, but my meal--lamb tiki masala-- was the best Indian meal i have ever had. The ali parata that accompanied it was perfect, as was the cup of tea that followed. Then, a hot flanellette and a thin mint topoed it off. The whole experoence couldn't have been better. Well done, Amritsar!
