Lovely, friendly staff. They were a wee bit too busy when we had dinner, and were slightly run off their feet. A tourist couple had to ask four times to book lunch for the following day. Not the biggest thing but would probably annoy some folks. Food was absolutely delicious. The sirloin steak was
Excellent breakfast each morning and lovely evening meals in the bar. Very friendly and welcoming staff and the pub is in a great location for local walks or further afield, or as a stopover to break up a journey north/south on the M6! We had a comfortable room with ensuite. Rather small for 2 adult
Visited here for Easter meal, they managed to fit a big party in and were very professional through out. The food was lovely, big portions and very good value for money. Would recommend anyone in the local area
Called and made a last-minute reservation on a busy Sunday afternoon. They were very accommodating, had the 3 course Sunday dinner. Bloody lovely and very reasonably priced .
