Was here with a group of friends. We had been walking in morning. We spent a good hour or more chatting and had tea and clotted cream scones. A big hit with everyone. My friends said the coffee and lemon drizzle cake was really good. I'm a tea jenny.
This cafe has great lunch options with specials on the wall. One thing to note is service - the girls serving us were amazing. Quick and efficient. The atmosphere was okay, but wasn’t expecting much from a cafe.
Great full English was had on the way to the Lakes.
Very friendly staff and fantastic quality sausage and bacon.
Coffee was superb too.
Highly recommend for a breakfast stop.
Called as the usual cafe we stop at was full, we are so glad! The food was cooked fresh, tasted delicious. Staff very accommodating, able to provide a good choice of vegan dishes. Definitely going to be our go to when we pass through!
Only comment is I was a little chilly as we were sat next to the door, next visit I'll wrap up:))
Although we didn't have food, it did look well presented and very nice.
Lovely staff.
Excellent food made fresh, not the cheapest place but not excessively expensive
Lovely little cafe right on the High Street. Got seated straight away. Lots of seats in side and some outside. Food was reasonably priced and the quality was top notch. They also serve alcoholic beverages as well as tea, coffee and milkshakes(which was amazing) Highly recommend.
Great cafe to stop as when out cycling. Very helpful, free water bottle refills, food coffee and good wraps... after lunch the sun comes round and they have a few seats and tables on the street... plenty of room inside.
BTW £10 min on cards
Unexpectedly nice! Would recommend if your travelling through! Nice homemade burgers! Lovely staff ☺️
All day cafe with outdoor and indoor seating in the heart of Kirkby Stephen. Substantive breakfast menu and generous portions. Used by tourists, cyclists, motor cyclists alike. The Full English was tasty and sumptuous. Great coffee. Clean toilets.
Great way to fill yourself up before a long walk in the Dales.
