We had a family visit today for the carvery.
The food was SPECTACULAR!
The service and atmosphere was simply wonderful!
We cannot wait to return!
Thank you so much for your hospitality!
Lovely pub with fantastic food. Staff were highly accommodating, and super friendly.
Recommend the prawn starter, and honey duck salad. We will be back when we visit again!
Had lunch with friends here last weekend but have been many times with family and friends. Always receive a warm welcome and food is delicious and good value for money. We will be back soon.
Popped in for lunch after a recommendation, whilst on holiday in the area,we were not disappointed, a lovely welcome. Excellent food. We will definitely be back.
Lovely food, very helpful staff, and lots of room for dining. We'd booked this time, having been turned away twice before for not having booked - but this time the dining area was almost empty.
The whole pub seems dedicated to eating - was a little disappointing not to see a more 'village pub' area
Lovely meal with really friendly service. Live music (guitarist) was a bonus too. Great evening.
We visited just before Christmas to celebrate a 60th birthday, and had a lovely time. Friendly service with a bit of a giggle, fabulous food and a relaxed setting was exactly what we were after.
Lovely meal. I actually paid for the wrong table and realised when I got home. I rang and was immediately reimbursed. Only negative comment would be that it was very noisy in the dining room. There were two large groups in and the noise did echo which made it difficult for us to chat. Otherwise a ni
We are staying in Winton so to have such a fabulous pub on your doorstep is amazing.
Eaten here twice so far and our meals have been beyond expectations.
We had the pork and chorizo on our first visit. Sorry we ate it before taking a photo. Was possibly the best meal ever!
Today we had lunch in the
Sunday carvery was good reasonably priced. Friendly service, though slightly forgetful !! Good location.
Great location as a base to head off and explore. We picked the Ben Lomond Lodge with hot tub and Sauna. Sleeps 6 or 8 if you use the convertible sofa. Two lounges worked well, one for the Xbox and the other for movies. Open plan living. High speed internet is free. We also had our two dogs with us.
Sunday lunch was excellent, great food, excellent service friendly staff. Dog friendly. Very helpful when it came to food allergys Enjoyed our visit would return as well as recommend
The food was well cooked, tasty and very nicely presented, though could have been hotter. The portions of starters and mains were not enough for the bigger appetites, so didn't score highly on value for money. The staff were attentive and polite and we enjoyed the evening.
We had a lovely dinner here. The food was very tasty with very generous portions.
Found by chance on google maps, the best meal and service we’ve had on our whole trip away - an absolute gem of a place. Full of character and home cooked food that left us rolling out!
Another great meal at this lovely pub.
Amazing food. The steak and ale pie was the best I’ve eaten in years. The pork belly was beautiful too and we were fascinated by the presentation and components.
The children’s fish and chips was beautifully cooked too but not enough fish for our 5 year old (fine if 4 or under) Despite that it was w
What a amazing find. Food freshly prepared to a vary high standard. Service professional and friendly. Sorry we are on holiday and can't visit more often.
