Went for a early evening meal and both had parfait to start which was amazing, great flavour and enough bread for the portion size. I had fish and chips a great pub classic and my other sausage and mash. Not a fault to pick, very tasty and well cooked. Staff very friendly and easy parking. Looking forward to going to the quiz when we can make it.

Absolutely delicious food. Really friendly staff. A lovely place for a meal. Sniffling hot day but air con in the conservatory made it a bright comfortable place to be. It's super clean and a modern feel. Well worth it

Having been meaning to visit for a while we finally did Saturday. There was a free bouncy castle for the children to enjoy. We ordered tapas which was delightful. I cannot understand why the pub isn't a lot busier, it was a lovely vibe and great service. The outdoor area and indoor area are both fantastically presented.

In our opinion everything about this pub and restaurant is truly exceptional. I took my visiting family there and haven’t been as we’re new to the area. All we could say was Wow! when the food arrived. We all had something different and spent 45 minutes tasting each others plates, and they were all absolutely delicious. 5-star food at a reasonable price. 4 different menus, main restaurant, lunch, tapas and bar. Staff were so helpful and polite. We’re back again with friends next week.

Stopped by whilst driving around in the area. Nice clean modern place, I would say more restaurant type place rather than a pub. We went there for a coffee only, but deserts on the menu caught my eye, so ordered couple desert from menu just to try out. Didn’t get disappointed. British strawberries with clotted cream was amazing, though having merengue in it was just a bit too sweet, but it is desert so no complaints about that. Crème brûlée with raspberries was even better! Staff was very friendly, smiley and willing to help, even my waiter forgot to bring me my water that I ordered and never received it😄 Water should be the first thing that goes on the table ALL THE TIME. Place has separate seatings for smokers and non smokers, which I appreciate a lot. Only thing was missing in there was plant based milk, which in these days shouldn’t be an issue to find anywhere, therefore I give 4 out of 5 stars. This restaurant offers nice variety of cocktails too. I would recommend this place for meal out, I am sure their food is decent too.

We visited today for a Sunday lunch with family. We had the beef and lamb roasts which each came with their own separate dishes of mixed vegetables and cauliflower cheese. Desserts were delicious too which included raspberry creme caramel, Eton mess and lemon cheesecake. Service was great. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive. A really lovely meal- thank you!

Sunday lunch for the two of us. Both my Wife and I thought the place had a great ambience, the starter followed by a traditional roast (lamb and pork in our case) were excellent and overall great value! Will definitely be back for lunch again soon.

We decided on the Queen's head for a family birthday meal having not been here for many years. On walking in it was very clear the place has changed and been revamped. Overall impressions on walking in was the place is very clean , smart and spacious. All the staff was great all with a smile on there face . As we came on a Sunday it was Sunday dinners all round . We all had either pork or beef . The pork was ok but nothing to rave about , served with a couple of roast potatoes that could of done with a bit more colour on them a single long very al dente carrot large Yorkshire pudding and a bit of sprouting broccoli. What was missing was there was no crackling a must for a pork Sunday dinner. We ordered cauliflower cheese as a extra and there was no real cheese taste to it if I'm honest. This wasn't the worst Sunday dinner we've had on our travels but it wouldn't make our top five . The prawn cocktail starter was very nice , the Eaton mess desert was not a Eaton mess trust me that has to be re thought .
