Came today with my family, haven’t been since I was a child myself and it was amazing. The cafe is an asset and absolutely fantastic. One thing I found that set them apart from other cafes was the selection of toys and books available for children who were in the cafe, this helped my 2 young boys sit really nicely at the table. The food is delicious, proper chips too!! Which gives them a 10/10 straight away. Reasonable prices and a lovely indoor and outdoor seating area.

Had a great breakfast, sat on the terrace in the sunshine. Served by friendly staff. A great find. Dogs are welcomed inside cafe too. All good.

Always love taking my dogs to Portland Park and stopping off at the Wild Rabbit. The coffee is good quality and reasonable compared to many other local cafes. Plenty of seating inside and out.

Nice cafe set in park and woodland. Offers all day breakfasts, lunches, cakes and snacks along with selection of hot and cold drinks. We had breakfast cobs and coffees which were very tasty. Staff very polite and helpful. Note access by road is down a mostly single track lane with limited parking next to the cafe, but there is a larger car park nearby that you go past and can be used if needed.

First time at the café, had just watched the Peter Rabbit film at home and thought it would be a good place to eat. (Picked for the name of the cafe) The cafe is down a country lane and is a very picturesque drive (done slowly), there's a small but well looked after car park for the cafe itself, as well as disabled ramps to the cafe from the car park. The building is well presented and there's seating in and out. Inside it has a homely feel, with a games table, where games can be used in the cafe and books in one corner to read. The food is well cooked and in my opinion, at a quite high standard for the price of the food. As one of the other reviews mentions, it would have been nice to be able to put my own milk into my drink, but this wasn't a major issue. The staff were very polite and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy and staff were ensuring that tables were clean. It is a little hidden gem and I will certainly be visiting again, maybe even take the dogs (they allow dogs into the cafe)

Always visit here with the grandkids and it's dog friendly too. Food is always good and great value. It's hidden away in the woods so a lovely walk to find it. Highly recommended

Here most weeks, super friendly staff and lovely food. Not too expensive either. Nice selection of cakes on a daily basis. The bad apple cider is one of my absolute favourites. Dogs are allowed inside.
