Went as a walk in last minute and they accommodated us, we had a server and a lovely table, food was amazing and the service was brilliant!

A group of 14 adults and 1 infant., booked at short notice for my husbands birthday. Excellent service from the initial phone call to the food on the plate. Super food, far far better than one would expect from pub food. A real credit to the team.
Had an amazing meal with a friend. I chose the Cajun chicken burger which was the most delicious chicken burger I’ve ever had. This was our first visit on a recommendation from a friend, and we were not disappointed!
We ordered a mocktail to drink, fish cake starter, and had the Cajun chicken and Wexford chicken as mains, followed by treacle sponge and choc & orange sponge with custard. We honestly couldn’t fault any of it.

Visited last night 13th July with my daughter & her partner. Not been in the countryman for a few years. Really good service. Lovely food cooked to perfection. Can’t remember the waiters name thin lad with glasses very good! Nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend
We had a lovely meal , the service was excellent and the staff attentive. We were very impressed with the Gluten free options , my other half is coeliac and most places we go have extremely limited menus that she can choose from, so it made a refreshing change to find such a wide choice to pick from

Lovely country pub. Lounge type bar area separated from two dining rooms. Wide range of main courses, to include several for vegetarians. Book in advance as often they are fully booked. Simply the best food without a doubt in this area all food is locally sourced and delicious.The staff are friendly and polite they are always eager to help.
