Have done a couple of wedding celebrations here and venue is perfect for a relaxed reception. Really nice and couples say how lovely the staff are. Has a great garden outside for photos too. Thank you. @Shelley Costello Photography www.shelleycostello.co.uk

I visited The Royal Oak during a walk around Kirby Muxloe for a drink and a bowl of chips. The pub offered a great selection of beer and spirits and the food was tasty. Staff and customers were friendly. The interior of the pub was nicely decorated, spacious and light. The exterior was also neat and tidy. I loved the look of the deli, with a range of meat, cheese and snacks on offer. I will definitely be returning for dinner or some deli snacks.

Travelling north on M1, booked Sunday lunch to break the journey. Fantastic choice. Staff led by Sarah were a delight, helpful and caring, could not have done more for us. Sunday lunch was excellent and great value for money. Highly recommended.

Been in for food before, which I found to be very nice. Popped in for a couple of jars recently, 3 pints cost just under £16, which I found to be quite pricey but was told it's the norm now. Popped in on a Saturday night and it was fairly quiet. It's a little bit out of the way, which is nice.

The food was excellent. Not one member of staff asked if our food was OK. Accessable toilet needs attention . Lock doesn't work.no sign on the door to say it was an Accessable toilet or that there was a baby changing area inside & we had a baby with us . toilet area too dark. This is from a disabled person.

We went here for a wake, so obviously a sad occasion but the food was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It made a difficult day a pleasure, thank you.

Nice food, all well presented. It's a generally good atmosphere, though if busy you can feel a bit like you are in the way. Not the cheapest place, but it's not trying to be, it's higher quality food and about the price you'd expect that to be.

Big band night....Service in the back room a little chaotic due to no one serving to start with and a large queue forming, got under control later. Front you looked good and the fresh food shop looked exceptional. Must go again to try the food.

Update 23.12.23. Dropped in for a coffee & cake. Also had a chilli sausage roll on top of the rocky road and coffee. Really busy, but very chilled pre-Christmas vibe. Very nice 👌 Went here on the spur of the moment as another chain restaurant didn't have a table available. Glad we did. Really nice and quirky, 'local' pub. Had a deli in the main room. Had a couple of filled pittas, tandoori chicken + halloumi & veg. Very tasty and good portion. Really good and pleasant service. Seemed like a good 'local' pub. Recommended 👍😁
