Lovely pub! Went for Sunday lunch today and it was brilliant, good portions with plenty of meat and great roasties. Staff were friendly and attentive, very dog friendly. Location wise it's a mile from borough bridge and part of a circular walk with some good views. Main caution would be the car park got full pretty quick by about half 12/1 so you may want to get in early

On a day when we gathered to remember a friend whose bench sits in Hall Square Borough bridge. We had decided to go to the ship Inn Aldborough afterwards. It was closed. We headed out of town to The Bluebell Inn. It was clean friendly and we all had a great meal. I can't stress how friendly and accommodating they were, we will be back very soon.

Delightful find close to the motorway. I stumbled across the Blue Bell Inn while trying to find somewhere to eat that was not a motorway services. It is not directly off the M6 but pretty close. I arrived very late for lunch when almost everyone else had finished eating but I was given a warm welcome. The choice of good was good for a pub. I chose from the daily special menu and the quality of the good was excellent. The service was unhurried but attentive. The only slight downside was the lack of an espresso machine, but the staff were upfront about it. The bar looked as if there was a good range of beer on tap, but I could not sample any. But I have bookmarked the location and hope to come back with a designated driver.

Went with parents for a birthday meal, the food was traditional pub food as evidenced by the fact my dad would have eaten anything on the menu (he generally wont go for anything fancy). The food appeared to be all home cooked and done well, i had a great steak and ale pie with proper chips. Everyone in my family commented on how good their dishes were. It was quite late when we got there around 7:40 and the evening crowd were starting to arrive but the service was still excellent.

Well, what can I say - the hospitality couldn't be any better. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, the food is amazing (the breakfast is a breakfast of champions) and the pub is wonderful - great beer, friendly atmosphere and very child friendly. I haven't started on the accomodation yet - we visit friends up that way and used to stay in town. However, we will only stay here as the rooms are like a home for home - really comfortable, great sized bed and it feels like you are in your own bedroom. I couldn't recommend this place any more highly.

We called in Friday tea time with the dog. Dogs are allowed in the rear area of the bar (and the beer garden). The staff we very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The bar menu was not very big but the food was delicious, my partner particularly enjoyed the toad-in-the-hole and stated the onion rings were 'awesome'.

My husband and I stayed at this property whilst visiting family in Kirby Hill for one night. We arrived at the Blue Bell Inn late afternoon and had a lovely warm greeting from the new landlady. She made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. We stayed in the Holly room at the top of the Inn and absolutely loved it's quirkiness. We had a lovely full cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning, again she went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our liking. We would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future. Loved it.
