We stayed overnight in the car park, the location is stunning, we ate breakfast in the cafe. A basic run of the mill cafe. Sat outside on the deck with a beautiful view of loch Leven. You can easily access the trails around the Loch from here. The eggs were nice, with happy looking yolks
Happened across this haven by chance looking for a lunch stop off the M90. Really lovely service and food and friendly and welcoming staff. Ample parking. Recommended.
Great little restaurant with plenty of outside seating. Only had a coffee but some of the food looked delicious. Friendly and helpful staff served me.
Nice wee cafe! Good menu and tasty food. Prices good too! Warm welcome from the staff.
What a pity it has been given a review for another place and it's brought the rating down.
Nice and friendly atmosphere and scenery and food is great worth a visit staff are always willing to help .
Only visited the coffee shop and had a lovely breakfast 👌😁🏴
A lovely warm welcome from the friendly staff in the cafe. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
What an amazing view we had, even the little cafe is needed when you're hungry.
The coffee shop is lovely. Very friendly staff and great good cooked to order. Nice atmosphere . Only issue is the road down is awful with pot holes so take care woth your car
Nice place, staff very nice ,helpful, arrived late so not a lot of choice left , but what there was, was fine, worth a visit for coffee and cake etc
Great selection from the breakfast menu. Delicious cakes and tasty toasts! Staff super friendly. You can sit indoor, on the terrace of the lodge cafe or on sheltered tables in the garden. The perfect pit stop before starting your walk along Loch Leven.
There needs to be healthier options. There’s nothing else to grab a bite at in the area so it saved us from starving.
Food is brilliant friendly staff quick service
Shop and play area, as always, interesting and enjoyable. Disappointed in the cafe. We were told there were no scones left (it was near to closing time and the whole place was to be closed to give the staff a well deserved holiday). That was fine, we chose cakes. The treacle tart was well overcooked and not tasty at all, empire biscuit OK but not great and lemon drizzle a bit dry. Then on buying at the counter what was on display but scones! Cheese ones and even a plum scone and some plain. Call me picky but would it not have been an idea to serve them in the cafe when customers requested them, rather than have them left over in the shop at closing time!?
Always stop by here, if traveling to and from Edinburgh. Great lochside location and good value food.
What a lovely place.. and a great cafe with good food and friendly, helpful staff. A.very relaxing atmosphere. Definitely will be going back regularly
