Just home from an overnight stay and would highly recommend. Staff were excellent - from our welcome at reception to the bar staff serving us one last night cap. We ate in the bar lounge and food was fresh tasty and decent value - loved the haggis bonbon starter! Rooms are fine nothing to write home about internally but fine a little small and a bit dated but does the job and are spotlessly clean. We were lucky enough to have a loch view and it was stunning. We used the pool and spa facilities after check out - which we were very kindly encouraged to do by reception staff which was a bonus for us as we were only staying one night - and felt the facilities were perfectly adequate and pool sauna and steam were all a good size. Will definitely return!

We arrived having booked a twin room with two king size beds. We went to the room to find one bed and at the back of the hotel..grrrr. However when we went back to reception to query the booking we were moved to another room with two beds and it was at the front with the loch and Scheihallion views. Perfect. Spacious room, very comfortable bed. Kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board. I know not always a necessity but no WiFi in room. Reception staff very friendly. The girl in the bar works so hard....we remember her from last time. We had room service for our evening meal which was delicious. This is one of our favourite spots to relax and will return. Plenty of walks out and beautiful drives from the hotel. Quite remote and not a lot in the village which is a ten minute walk away. Well stocked village shop. There is a pool etc for guests to use but we didn't this time as only a one night stay.

The most beautiful location, could not fault this place, staff so lovely and friendly and food amazing. Rooms old fashioned but that's what makes it, will be back here in a shot. 5 stars from us

Trip advisor mucked up our booking but the staff at the hotel were great. The rooms are spacious and clean. Ours had a fantastic view to the front, I can imagine in the winter the view of the loch will be spectacular. We ate and had cocktails in the bar, which was lovely. Comfortable and relaxed.

The hotel is set within a stunning location, the pool, sauna & steam room are fantastic & add a lovely relaxing bonus. The food was 1st class, the Cullen skink was absolutely superb !! Reception staff are friendly & knowledgable, and Szilvia & Rolands were amazing, always ready with a friendly smile & nothing was too much trouble... the room was clean but a wee bit dated in decor but the friendly staff and the character of the hotel & surroundings more than made up for this. A wonderful stay, heading home feeling happy & relaxed, thank you x

My wife and I spent a few days at this hotel last year and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Whilst not the most modern of hotels it was very comfortable and homely, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. It is located in magnificent surroundings overlooking the loch; our visit coincided with beautiful weather allowing us to view the scenery at its very best. Well worth a visit.
