Lovely old pub. Well looked after, staff lovely. 1st December so we were treated to to Christmas music which I felt was a bit early ! Food was excellent and a really good choice. Will definitely go again.
Fantastic old style pub, cosy, great food and friendly staff. I’m looking forward to returning for the live music on Sunday 1st April.
Visited for the first time, what a place, so nice and wellcoming, landlady was very nice, food was nice and fresh and very tasty. would recommend to anyone.

We had Sunday lunch for 13 a week ago. food, beer, wine all get the thumbs up... great staff and very accommodating. 4 kids ate their plates clean ... thanks for inviting us Stuart Chapman and happy birthday xx
Terrie food. Great friendly and welcoming staff. Warm and cosy inside in the winter and a garden with fabulous views in the summer. We love it here

We went for lunch in a few weeks ago. Received a warm welcome, very nice meals all round enjoyed in an inn full of Character.
Very quaint old pub. Large outside seating and eating area will laid out and very pretty. There was some live music playing when we were there. Staff very accomodating who found us a table even though we hadn't booked. Dog friendly.
Nice outside area with plenty of seating which is on a first come, first serve basis (Reservations are accepted indoors). Also had nice music playing which wasn't too loud. Went for the Saturday special, steak dinner for £12.95 which is a great deal. Also had 2 cocktails for 10£ (1 mojito & 1 tequila grapefruit). Highly recommend this place, especially if you want a pub to go to, after a walk in the area.
This pub is amazing! It’s beautiful inside and out; the food is delicious; service is fast and staff are so helpful. Our group were so impressed with the Sunday roasts with crispy roast potatoes and homemade Yorkshire puddings. I have been here a few times and it’s always good. I really can’t recommend it enough. (Btw, they do have vegan options if you ask.)

The Well House Inn, Coulsdon, is a really nice pub for both families and groups. We found the staff to be welcoming, kind and complimentary. The food was excellent - served quickly and cooked perfectly. Very much look forward to my next visit!
The fact that the pub dates back to 15th century, and the old building has been renovated to keep the original character (and purpose) is fantastic - it’s also named after the St Margaret’s Well, itself recorded in the Doomsday book, which is on-site.

What a lovely place! Came here with a group of 9 of us. We all ate, and not only did they have some great deals (£9.99 for a burger), but the quality of the food was outstanding. They obviously really care about what they do here. Would wholeheartedly recommend....:)
This hidden pub is amazing, has a lovely warm inside area small dining rooms and a large covered outside area, with a n outdoor bar. Food is brilliant and reasonably priced. We will definitely be visiting again.
Really enjoyed this inn pub on a February walk with the dog. Perfect half way pint and lunch if on a circular route from Merstham. Great, friendly service and good atmosphere and vibe inside. Cool history behind the well and suppose monk ghost.

I've not been back here since the 70s. Unbelievable the staff were fantastic and friendly. I was with 2 lady friends and they also loved it. 10 out of 10 for everything and I won't wait another 50 years til I return. Many thanks to all of the staff.

Second time having a meal here. Such a lovely environment. Staff and the manager are so friendly and polite. The restaurant caters so well for gluten free needs and their gluten free bread is amazing! Delicious food good quality and very affordable! Will be back again!
Although there was a big party you would not know it. The staff were friendly and helpful and polite. Wonderful range of real ales and had the best steak and ale pie I've had in years.
