Had a lovely birthday meal this week, was very impressed with everything, the staff, the service, the food, and was pleasantly surprised at the cost (reasonable). Was difficult to choose what to have as it all sounded so delicious. Ended up having 3 courses & we were both impressed. Now have to go back to try the other things on the menu �
Gilly and Wazza popped in to have Lunch today having been test driving Mazda cars up the road. Wow what a beautiful restaurant great atmosphere and delicious delicious menu at a great price. We both enjoyed our meal very much indeed. Hmmmm tiramasu to die for, we are looking forward to our return for an evening meal. A top restaurant 10 out of 10
Lovely meal in here on Saturday night. Friendly and welcoming service, despite us arriving before they actually opened, and superb food. Roaring fire in the bar and a great pint when we arrived was just what we needed. Highly recommended and we'll be back.
Hubby surprised me with a table for 2 on Valentines night! After 23 years, 4 kids, 4 grandkids and an empty piggy-bank, it is a rare treat for us to celebrate valentines in quite such a special way! Great friendly staff who were very attentive, setting/atmosphere was really lovely, and the food was absolutely amazing! All in all a wonderful evening! Thankyou Canaletto ��
Our first visit but hopefully not our last as all the food was excellent - good provision made for children & also gluten-free requirements within our group. The service was very friendly, efficient and prompt, which we were delighted about we were ravenous after some of our group arrived very late.
Food was absolutely amazing, the dessert trolley was to die for. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. Lovely, lovely place.
Excellent genuine Italian food served by cordial, knowledgeable staff. We were staying in Waddesdon for two nights and ate dinner both nights there. The desserts were fabulous. Prices were very reasonable and the portions perfectly suited our appetites.
We had lunch at Canaletto today - it was a bit of a late decision. What an excellent choice it turned out to be. The restaurant is lovely and the staff were excellent. Most importantly, the food was superb. This place is a bit of a jewel - we look forward to returning!!
We visited Thursday 20th April 2017 for my daughters 26th Birthday. Had a wonderful starter, main meal, wine and dessert. All the staff sang happy Birthday to Danielle. Can't wait to re-visit :)

We enjoyed our three course meal. As far as menu choices it is quite standard nothing surprising or unique which is a bit disappointing, again like in typical Italian restaurant.
But food is cooked well and is good quality and very tasty! My steak was cooked perfectly! Thanks
Had dinner this evening with a large table of 10. Service was 100% from the minute we arrived. Drinks and food came to the table in good time and the food was really nice and fresh. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks for a great evening.

We booked to celebrate Father's Day. Although the set menu looked utterly delicious, my husband and son had their hearts set on carbonara as it is their absolute favourite. This was kindly supplied by the kitchen, and it was as stunningly fabulous as ever. Lovely service and fantastic food. What more could we ask?

A beautiful cottage style restaurant serving tasty italian fusion dishes. Visited Canaletto for dinner today and found a seat immediately even after we've walked in without a reservation. The staff were very nice and courteous, the food was tasty and the pricing was reasonable. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Delicious food and excellent service! We paid £80 and had several exceptional dishes and shared a tiramisu which was so light and airy, it felt like we were eating a soft cloud (in the best way possible). Would definitely visit again!

Our Waiter rolled out a deserts trolley and absolutely everything looked amazing!
We chose the lemon cake and home made tiramisu which was outstanding!
My wife is itlian and can be very critical about the way itlian food is made in England, she said this was the best tiramisu she has EVER had!
My Lemon cake was also extreamly good! I would come back just to try all the deserts!
The Coffee, ... we like to try coffee everywhere we go and always make sure its as pure as it gets with a espresso.
The Coffee here at Canaletto is easly the best in Aylesbury.
Its not even close, espresso was beautiful we had 4!
If you are ever passing by and just need a coffee for your journey this is the best coffee in town hands down!
Lastly the service, Both waiters who served us today very polite, friendly and welcoming.
Very glad we decide to book and make the journey, we shall most deffiently be returning.
Very fairly priced aswell 5 stars!
