Been coming here for a few years. Quality is consistently good, staff friendly and efficient and shop is always clean. Prices are pretty good too. A level above your standard chicken shop. If it’s fried chicken you’re after there’s no better place I’ve found.

Shop is kept very clean and they even have a posh bathroom. Very impressed and my favourite chicken shop in Kingston !!

Never had before or heard of Weldfinn for that matter but definitely 1000% better than KFC, the spicy chicken wings are amazing and they have proper french fries for a nice change.
Price very reasonable too!
Absolutely the best chicken shop in the area, I've tried everywhere else and nothing comes close. The chicken is always delicious, the fries are leagues above anywhere else and the coleslaw is beautiful.
I ordered kfc the other week and threw it away and ordered from here instead.
Good, tasty quality chicken meals at a reasonable price. Very friendly & polite staff and the restaurant is always very clean (haven’t personally eaten in as I usually collect).Only reason I’ve given 4/5 is because the beef burger they have is a thin patty, not same quality as their chicken in my opinion, but I do appreciate it’s a chicken shop!
I’ve seen people make comments about wait time...You do have to wait a while for your order, but to be honest I’d rather wait 10 mins whilst they prepare my food fresh then be served food that’s been prepared & sitting in the hot cabinet. Additionally, if you’re ordering via a food app then this also relies on driver availability, esp during COVID isolation right now so I think you should expect to possibly wait longer in my opinion!
So much better than the chain chicken shops, have eaten here a few times and always been top quality, even the chips are good. Great value for money
The grill chicken is marinated well, the chips are tasty and crispy the the price is good! My go to after a session. Overall food doesn't feel overly greasy. I approve.

Literally my favourite chicken shop. Always polite and generous with their portions. Still can't get over the weldfinn variety at 14.99, you get so much food and it's all cooked so well!

Among the best fried chicken I've ever tasted, every time. Chips are amazing. Service is friendly. If you visit you'll see it's kept very clean. An absolute gem of a chicken shop.

The meal.
Chips: Although on the thin-side, were cooked fresh, nicely drained and pleasantly crisp to the bite.
Fillet-Burger: Soft succulent meat. Decent size and quite filling. The lettuce was crisp, the bun was soft. Warning: the meat was garnished with burger sauce instead of mayo.
1x Fried Breast-piece: Crisply coated, with an aesthetically pleasing bronze veneer. It was not one of those leviathan pieces that has come from some modified chicken with roid-rage and bereft of taste. Flavour and seasoning was pretty much on par with the fillet.
Drink: 7-Up. Sorry hoodrats… no Mirinda served here.
Price: £5.89 for the Large Burger-Box Meal Deal which included all the above. Pretty good value.

Location: It is somewhat out of the way - about 10-15 mins walk from the train station and bus garage. That being said - there is no better way to burn off some of that fried chicken n chips n mayo, than an ambient stroll through Fairfield park. Take the scenic route back to town!
I ate there last Friday, just after midday. It was fairly quiet with just a few local punters coming in for a takeaway.
It's more discrete location makes for a more pleasant eating experience IMO however, as it avoids the hustle and bustle of lunchtime crowds.

Great peri peri burgers and the chips are good at reasonable prices. The rice was bland sadly but its one small pitfall in an otherwise good experience
Amazing spicy chicken burger meal and great wings, my friend had the Peri peri quarter chicken medium and said it was cooked perfectly. thank you guys will definitely be visiting again, good service friendly staff
