The Joa - Kingston upon Thames - Photo album

Joa did the food for my wedding and went the extra mile to assure I had delicious and very affordable food that all my guest loved. Amazing service and amazing quality! I can highly recommend!!!!
**UPDATE: This restaurant is no longer trading and has been taken over by another Korean takeaway! Whenever we've had a long day cycling around in Richmond, JOA is the only place we grab a quite bite to eat. This Halal Korean spot offers delicious sweet and sour chicken on some great egg fried ric
This is absolutely my favourite place to grab lunch or for a snack without having to sit down in a restaurant. Its quick and easy and they are very efficient, not only that the food is just so more-rish it just makes my mouth start to water just thinking about it. I used to go for the egg fried ric
First ate here about two years ago when my ftiend introduced me to the place and it was very delicious. I've been hooked ever since😋 Have been recently going once a week over the last few months. Always been served fresh food. Love the chicken 999 (spicy) and chicken katsu with rice. Can also eat ou
Spicy chicken on rice a must - good portions on hot steamed rice, the chillied chicken really wakes up your tastebuds. Then get a portion of kun mandoo dumplings to finish off. Great food, friendly service and superb value for money. If you can't wait to take the food home, there is outdoor seating
Absolutely delicious tofu katsu (see pic!) and amazing value. Got this and 2x2 servings of gyoza for £7.
This is the Korean Restaurant that I always go to since their food is very delicious and it always taste fresh that's why I always drop by to their shop whenever I go to Kingston High Street. The staff here are very friendly, their food is unique and tastes really good. Chicken katsu and chili chick
A simple menu with filling food. My go to is the rice with with spicy and sugar chicken combo. It always goes down well. The food is halal and they have signs around the shop for it. The staff are nice and friendly. The place is clean but not an Instagram cafe but this is a good thing as you are pay
The best chicken katsu, lovely staff and fast service, my friends and I usually get take away from here and go eat my katsu curry by the Thames. The tofu katsu curry is yummy too.
Can't believe it took me so long to find this place. The food is amazing. You are missing out if you don't go.
First of all it is amazing that all the chicken is halal but what was more amazing is the Cheese Teokbokki - it was the best I ever had. The rice cakes very soft and the sauce had a good enough spice. My sister's and I thoroughly enjoyed the meals and the staff were nice and friendly. Thank you and
When in Kingston - this is the place to go! Fantastic service with fresh food every time. Have been here 4 or 5 times now and have always tried something different; seems to get better every time. My pick would be the Cheese Tteokbokki - had the normal one the first time (which was great) but the
JOA is Kingston's hidden gem in terms of Korean takeaway. First off, its a bit further away from the main street, yet it has a lot seating area! You are almost always guaranteed a seat, even pre-pandemic. So if you find yourself hungry after shopping around, head here and you'll likely find a seat.
Chicken999 is 닭볶음탕 very authentic Korean style. so tasty and spicy. Cooked rice is surprisingly impressive and best quality I have ever tried in London. Because other brand restaurants don't really care about rice quality. I will definitely get it again.
