We popped into here, as we saw a table for 4 in the outside area. I asked the people on the next table who were leaving if they had enjoyed their meal / drinks and they were lovely and highly recommended the cocktails and food, they had shared a few starters between them. We had our two children age 9 and age 6 with us - we popped inside to get a menu and kids menu - we ordered 4 meals, wine and water up at the bar giving our table number. We also had a super lovely lady look after us! She spotted my daughter being grumpy when she was clearing away the table next to us and immediately helped out by bringing another glass of water with a delicious strawberry and and extra strawberry for our son. The waitress was kind, smiling and very friendly, she was very attentive we felt very spoiled and it was a super treat. The food arrived promptly and we loved it! We really had a nice time sitting outside and we enjoyed how looked after we felt. Good prices on food and drinks! Highly recommend this spot - clean and tidy too. Thanks again to the super nice waitress too!

My boyfriend and I have visited Henry's twice now, both unplanned and couldn't recommend more. Kingston was begging for a cool, beautiful bar with amazing food at decent prices and Henry's ticks all these boxes. Beautiful vintage decor, the friendliest of service (Harry and Rob make us feel like VIPs on every visit) and really lovely food that is totally value for money. We can't wait to be regulars and experience more of the menu especially prosecco Thursdays and Sunday roasts. Thank you so much for this new gem x

Went here on a Monday lunchtime for a drink and a bite to eat. Very smart, comfortable seating with plenty of room at the tables. From a wide range menu we chose the sharing meat platter and a couple of side dishes. For a light lunch, we found this to be quite satisfying. We found the atmosphere to be just about right, not too quiet. The food prices were about right for this area, although the cocktails looked very expensive so I just stuck to the beer. Would recommend for a lunchtime.

Great cocktails! Took a couple of girls here for some drinks after work and really enjoyed ourselves. The smooth jazz back music is a really nice touch, it was really nice to be able to hold a conversation without shouting over music. As we went on a Thursday it seemed not so busy and service was quick to prepare our drinks. I was a little amused we were offered to pay later, which I assumed to be opening a tab, or asked if we wanted to pay it off immediately. Shortly after we received our drinks the offer was rescinded and I was asked to pay. Not a big deal, it was just a bit of an interruption to the evening.

A great spacious Café and Bar/pub with lovely furniture. We sat down here after a long day out at Kingston Christmas Market and needed a break. We had tea and a most delicious baked cheesecake. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The place had a lovely atmosphere, it was not cramped like the usual coffee shop or pub. Beautifully decorated with very comfortable chairs for travel-weary bodies.

We went here for a drink before going elsewhere to eat. The cocktails are 241 all day/every day which is great. I loved what I ordered & the bar staff even bought them to our table which I thought was excellent service. I didn't eat here so cannot comment on that (although the food reviews don't seem great). However my partner said his cocktails were way too sweet, but I guess that is just personal preference. Much better than the old Slug & Lettuce that used to be there in my opinion.

Lovely bar, great staff, Disappointed with the meal. I have eaten here a few times, but have to say my last two visits have been disappointing. I ordered a scampi, battered fish and chips and two of our group ordered 6 dishes to share. Portions seemed small, do not mind if it was wonderful. Sadly it was not, dried out peas, flavourless chips, one of the shared dishes BBQ burnt ends, was floating in a pool of oil. Which congealed once, the plate was finished with. I cannot fault the staff, from the first guy who served us, to the other staff member who came to us with menus. Good selection of drinks, for a pregnant daughter and a non drink. Even found ceders on your drinks list. Will return for drinks, but may not eat.

Service is great, and the location is gorgeous. The mango cider we had was cool and well priced for the location and quality. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because the table leaning could be better and the tabled outside is a little rickety. But all in all a lovely experience!

Went there just after lunch on a Wednesday, so it wasn't super busy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The cocktails were amazing (although over priced if you are not getting the 2-4-1 deal) and the food very yummy. I just had a selection of small plates. Would definitely recommend.

It's easy to see how this has become my regular place for lunch. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by friendly servers who are quick to help and give a personal touch so easily forgotten these busy days. As for the food, say no more, from breakfasts that put the full into full English to their burgers and steaks. Focusing on skilled cooking and quality over exotics and flair, makes for filling meals both in body and soul. One of Kingston's best kept secrets.
