After we have been told that you make the best cakes, we have purchased a white vanilla cake for our son's birthday and we would like to say a big thank you for kindness to complete our choice. Our guests were impressed of the great taste and asked where the cake is from.

Good collection of french pastries and coffee. Nice little local coffee shop for breakfast and for day time snacking. I like the decore, and the staff was very pleasant. Lots of sitting space. Recomended for trying.
Forgot to take photo before first bite lol. It was such a lovely patisserie, their pies are awesome! Soft crust and you can actually taste apricot. Very recommended their sweets.

The coffee was hot which I like. Warm coffee gets drunk too quickly. The flavour was pretty good, nicer than chain cafes but not mind-blowing.
It’s hard to describe the almond croissant. From what I know (thanks to Paul Hollywood) this probably isn’t a good croissant. It’s pretty flat, you can’t see the layers of pastry, it was soggy on the bottom, butter was oozing out when you squished it.
But it was *stuffed* with almond paste, yeehaa! So despite what I said to the negative this was a delicious almond croissant and I’d be happy to have another one. Or two. Not at once, on subsequent visits I mean.

We put in a custom order for a special giant eclair as a birthday treat, which was exceptional; delicious, and not overly sweet like most cakes in the UK and just as good quality as in Paris. The closes that it gets to French Patisserie in London… They have delicious bakery. Some staff are also french which is great. Delicious Croissant and coffee.
The pastries at this cafe are out of this world. It's a charming and quiet cafe to hide away from the rest of the high street.

Excellent selection of patisseries made on the premises, good coffee and lovely welcome at this new authentic establishment. A nice change from other po-faced coffee businesses on the same street - shall be going back!
Excellent coffee and pastries, very friendly service and good value for money. A bright space with room for prams. Staff kind to children, always a plus.
