Love this place, first went there a few months ago. Needless to say it's position was sooooper overlooking the Thames, it's barges, boats n swans paddling up n down. The Lebanese brekkies are fantastic and u gotta have that spiced hot chocolate with baclava in too! Service fab, love the murals and authentic style. Competition is tough down there I guess but this has something 'different' It's fresh!

The food was good and tasty. The staff were attentive and trained. I liked most the juices and the sweets. The tagines with couscous were delicious and well prepared. The decoration was attractive.

Not lebanese. As a lebanese, nothing annoys me more than when restaurants advertise their cuisine as Lebanese when it’s actually not. (Not the food nor the designs)

Although having said that, the food is very nice, the staff are good and even though I don’t personally like the layout of it, the atmosphere is nice.

Went over to meet friends at this rather nice place by the river on a warm sunny evening. As the weather was great, we sat outside under the umbrellas and had a rather nice time. I stuck to Lebanese beers (there were only two options) while others tried their hand at cocktails (which weren't all that exciting I am told). But the food was uniformly good right from starters through to mains. The service is a bit iffy though (they look understaffed) but overall a pleasant evening.

England, especially London flavor and priceless value menu prices too tough to eat. Including Turkish restaurants and cafes. This is a kind of Lebanese kitchen, except employees of polish waitres all of staffs Lebanese. Within the very huge place to spend time , we sat outside in the cold London in December and heaters were very strong, we were not cold. In addition everything is really tasty👍🏼 also a wide variety of dishes, dessert and meze are available close to the Turkish mutagen. But do not taste the baklawa because it was not sweety. Design eye filling. I gave the charge has satisfied me. Coffee bit hard.

Comptoir is a wonderful restaurant by Kingston Riverside. Nestled among a variety of restaurants along the river is a nice restaurant serving Lebanese food. The quality of the service was excellent; the staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was quite pricey for the quantity that you get. Spending over £60 for 3 guests while feeling as if we could have another full meal straight away isn’t a good sign. However, the food that was served was very fresh and tasty as you would expect from an authentic, high quality Lebanese restaurant. They didn’t skimp on the flavours for my dish which was the mixed grill. The meat was moist, full of flavour and the salad was to die for. The other dish was fish with brown rice. That dish was good but not great. It was screaming out for all of the garlic and chilli dips that came with it to elevate the dish which again isn’t completely satisfactory. I was quite disappointed that they didn’t have the rolls for their Lamb Kofta roll which was the dish I wanted to order. Considering it was early afternoon, it was odd to me that they ran out of the rolls without informing us after they handed us the menus. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Comptoir. It’s a fun atmosphere in the afternoon and perfect to visit on a bright sunny day. Sitting outside was a great pleasure as we enjoyed the sun and fresh air which added to our lunch experience. The downside would be the pricing on the menu as I don’t think the prices match the amount of food you get from each dish on the menu. A lot of their dishes don’t come with a side chips or rice, you have to pay for them separately which feels like it’s just too much.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Lebanese salad with chicken and halloumi, very tasty. However the lack of waiters on what was a very busy barmy day by the river meant that the overall dining experience was marred by long wait times and clearly overwhelmed restaurant staff shouting at each other. Having said that the location on the banks of the river Thames is idyllic and it's a great place from which to watch the world go by.

Lovely food. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere and service. We went with a family and shared a few dishes. The staff were really great at making recommendations and sharing some extras with us and accommodating the little one. Great decor!

Had a Saturday family lunch here. It was pretty crowded, popular place, but could get a seating without a reservation. There were plenty outdoor places. The interior is fancy, a good designer work. Ordered mixed meze, mixed grill, kid menu, tea and desert. For two adults and one kid got a bill of 50 GBP, service charge included. Should say that is adequate for such location. Liked the food. Toilet was clean and tidy. Disabled accessable (but somebody needs to hold the door)

A good place for a reliably good Lebanese meal. Yes, it's a chain, but they are consistently good. This location is really nice, right on the river, though outside seating is a bit limited. I've always enjoyed the food at Comptoir Libanais, and this location is particularly nice. My only concern is that on our last visit they were very short staffed and lunch took almost 2 hours.

Comptoir Libanais is a super Lebanese restaurant located alongside River Thames (2A Riverside Walk, Kingston) offering a fantastic range in Middle Eastern cuisine. Staff are welcoming & professional. Restaurant has both outdoor & indoor tables decorated in vibrant colours. If indecisive or choosing is difficult, try the Mèze (various small dishes/samples) providing opportunity to try several dishes at once. It is beautifully & cleverly presented with various dips/humous containing extra flavour boosts inside each ring: Hommos (humous); Baba Ghanuj (blended smoked aubergine & tahina dip), Cheese Samboussek (hot pastry parcel filled with melted cheese & mint), Falafel (crisp chickpea patties with coriander, parsley & tahina sauce), Tabbouleh (Middle Eastern salad with fresh chopped parsley, quinoa, tomato, mint & onion), natural Labné (natural strained goat milk yoghurt), warm flatbread & pickles (photo attached). Relatives chose Chicken Kofta (grilled ground chicken with herbs, peppers, onions & spices) served with Comptoir Salad; Lamb KoftaTagine & Couscous (spices ground lamb, tomato, chickpea & courgette).

I have been coming to the Kingston branch numerous times before covid. I came with my friends who have never tried this restaurant before. The food was very bland, service was slow and extremely costly! We wanted a table for 5 outside as the weather was lovely and considering I booked the table online in advance, we was told we could only sit outside if it was for 4 people. I politely requested if we could get 2 tables near to each other when it becomes available, 1 table for 3 people and 1 table for 2 people. We was told that they would try and then they ended up giving two empty tables to two different customers.. after we waited for more than half an hour! The food was terrible and portions were so much smaller and expensive. I was extremely disappointed. I won’t be returning here again!

Really nice place. The interior is beautiful but we sat outside which was equally as nice. Staff were very friendly and good service. I ordered aubergine tagine with rice and an aubergine and halloumi wrap. The drink was a lemonade with rose syrup, delicious. All food is halal. Wait time was only 10mins for food.

I was a bit disappointed with the service. It wasn’t that busy but we had to be asked to be seated and also ask for a menu (when others around us got it as soon as they sat down). Food was okay but the meat was very very tough, I ordered the steak and got it medium rare but still found it extremely hard to chew and swallow. The baba ganoush and Humus were amazing however! I do think the food is a bit pricey for what it is.

Went for lunch to Comptoir. The service we received was quick and excellent. We didn't have to wait long for a table as there was one available outside. The waiter was very friendly and quick in taking our orders and provided a good service. We enjoyed the Riverside view whilst having our lunch. The food, is delicious as usual. Definitely recommend to try out their *Mixed Grill Platter & Roza Lemonade😋
