I went last night with my other half for his birthday and my newly diagnosed gf/df 9 yr old. Oh my word, how lovely to be able to eat everything on the menu without worrying! Probably best menu I've seen showing allergens. Dishes for gf, df, paleo, vegan and kids menu too, no complicated spreadsheets here (I'm looking at you cafe rouge!) Food was outstanding, we shared prawns with smoked garlic mayo to start, steak and poussin for mains and mini beef burger and chicken burger for my daughter with sweet potato fries. Particularly impressive was the free filtered-on-site still or sparking water, the organic prosecco which didn't give me a headache, and the soft drinks without added sugar, sweeteners, preservatives or other additives. My daughter would mainline sugar if she could but she loved them. And my partner was very happy about the ice cold glasses; one of his bugbears are bars/restaurants who serve cold drinks in warm glasses. For dessert the vegan 'cheesecakes' were out of this world, can't wait to try all the flavours Amazing food, friendly staff, lovely decor. Would thoroughly recommend a visit, whether or not you have any special dietary needs

I was lucky enough to go to The Willow for the second time yesterday and the team and food did not disappoint. Whilst the unique angle of this restaurant is that food is designed and to suit any dietary requirements, that doesn't mean that they are only for those who avoid gluten or are vegan. The food is sourced, cooked and combined to get maximum flavour and enjoyment, and it's a brucie bonus if you avoid certain foods because generally you don't have to worry what's in it! There is also a great choice of organic wines and beers - although I was driving so choices of wonderful teas and coffees was great. We had some lovely platters of food to share for an event but all the choices were from the menu. Many people think 'healthy food' means deprivation but The Willow delivers high quality, thoughtfully combined, tasty food that 'just so happens' (well I'm know it's carefully planned) to be not be full of rubbish. Oh and the retractable roof is great when the weather is nice too!

This is a hidden gem. We went with two friends and were very pleased with everything. The service was excellent and it was the best steak we had tasted for ages. The decor is fresh and relaxing. Will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

Went to the willow with my wife and baby for Monday dinner. Staff where great and we choose the beer tasting float- 4 mini beers to try from the menu. We enjoyed the beer, deco and overall feel of the place. We ordered mains which where fantastic- the lamb especially well cooked and decent size. I would be visiting again frequently for casual drinks or dinner.

The best gluten free and dairy free restaurant I have ever been to. It also caters for FODMAPS, Paleo and other allergens/sensitivities. I love the whole ethos on farming, using local suppliers, supplying filtered water through reverse osmosis, sulphite free organic wines, and it's dog friendly! I can go on and on so do go and visit, you won't be disappointed!

Delicious food: The Sunday roast is more than adequate in size, too big for me, and the tri-colored carrots, and zucchini/courgettes that accompany it are perfectly cooked and taste amazing. The sparkling Alibi Health Drinks, are definitely worth a try, I tried blueberry and it was very nice. In addition, the roast chicken is from a local free range organic farm; I have never tasted a chicken that was to flavorful without being over spiced. You can taste the difference in how it was raised. The Willow also has a lovely year round outdoor seated garden area, with a retractable roof, last Sunday, which was a nice sunny day the staff had the roof off and I sat and enjoyed a cider outside.

We went to the Willow today for a 'Love Kingston' fund raising quiz. We got there early because we'd heard about the Willow and wanted to eat there first. The food was absolutely fantastastic.

Visited this restaurant with my mum who has to choose her food carefully for health reasons. We were in London for her 65th birthday. There was an excellent variety of dishes available for her. Mum had the fish in squid ink batter and I had pork tenderloin - all delicious - and desert was yummy! The friendliness of the staff made our visit extra special. They were attentive without being invasive and very knowledgeable the menu. We had a lovely evening. I'd highly recommended a visit here whether or not you have special dietary requirements!

A little pricey for the area but that is made up for with the great service, friendly staff and the range of tastes/diets catered for. We had the padron peppers, the rainbow salad with chicken and the lamb tomahawk cutlets. They were all excellently flavoured, well sized without leaving us feeling stuffed and clearly also very nutritious. They also don’t make you feel too bad about having a sweet tooth by having natural and RAW options of cheesecake and desserts. Lastly, I would recommend people support this local restaurant that is working not only to run a restaurant but a business that supports the community in achieving a better health and lifestyle. Any company doing that should be supported.

Can truthfully say the restaurant lives up to it's reviews. Came in over the weekend and we're blown away by the ambiance, staff and most of all the food. Did not walk away disappointed and well worth the price.

I have visited the restaurant today alongside a friend who is a food blogger. As usual 'The Willow' did not fail to impress. We decided to try the soup of the day - which was fantastic as well as a tuna steak. I am not a great soup fan as I find them a little too thick for my liking but not this time - the soup was light and left me feeling very satisfied. The restaurant has a range flavoursome dishes on its menu and this recent sampling measured up to it more than well. As always, the staff undertake their work in a friendly, polite, respectful and knowledgable manner - particularly the manager who went out of his way to impress us. Wonderful service. So, with the ever delightful location, superb food (plus a great gluten-free beer selection) and attentive staff what more could anyone demand? Thank you for having us The Willow and allowing us to take photographs. See you soon!

I have some dietary issues hence this restaurant was a real find. My wife however has no issues but She and the rest of our crowd we're amazed at how tasty the food was. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection. I have to say speaking to our waiter and the bar/owner they have incredible knowledge about food. Everything has been thought of including the quality/production of the wines and spirits they use in their cocktails. If you want a good meal with quality ingredients then I would give it a go. They are very accommodating and consider any request . Will definitely come back again.

Loved it! The food was delicious, I had the falafel burger with mushroom bun which was surrounded by delicious vegetables. It was very filling in fact but I had to have a dessert (it's not everyday you have a selection of gluten free desserts to chose from!). I decided on the pecan caramel cheese cake and was not dissapointed! Better than any regular cheesecake I've ever had. The staff were lovely as well and the setting very calming and serene. They've really put thought into every aspect of the restaurant, even down to reverse osmosis table water, they offered still or sparkling. Overall, blown away and I'm sure I will become a regular customer!

Oh my goodness! Absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing, the waiters were so nice and the cherry on the cake is how healthy everything is! Even the ketchup is absolutely yummy and not the usual sugar ridden stuff! We'll certainly return! It's a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth the money!

I have just visited The Willow for the first time. What an absolute pleasure to be able to eat anything on the menu all of which is gluten free and mostly dairy free and absolutely healthy. What an excellent idea by the Chef who set up this place, for all those who either choose to eat super healthily or for those who are Coeliac, gluten or dairy free for medical reasons. I love the concept of this place and wish there was one in every town!

DO GO to the Willow Restaurant. I have had an enjoyable lunch there with my family today. I cannot fault it. The staff were attentive, friendly and obliging. The food delicious and with appetising portions. If you are looking for somewhere different to go, this is the place. The transformation of the building is such a far cry from the run down old pub it used to be. I wish owner, staff and future clientele all the very best for a long and successful future. Thank you for an enjoyable time.

Me, my wife and our baby came here for dinner. Overview Great place to come for food or casual drinks. Nice bright and clean atmosphere with friendly staff. Prices (food/drink) are maybe higher than the usual pub - but this is something more. Plus the food was excellent- esp lamb. Beer is not the usual but specially sourced so interesting to try and I enjoyed some of the taster beers I had. Venue The deco was very nice and gave the place a bright, clean and vibrant atmosphere which was great. They have designed the layout so that there is a lot of natural light that comes into the room which is a lot nicer than the dark local pubs of norm. There is an inside seating area and open outside area which is partially covered- all open and well planned- it was easy to get in and out with a buggy. Service Staff where knowledgeable and friendly. It was not busy on the day we went but it seems like they have chosen people with customer service in mind. Drink We saw beers which we have never heard of before so choose a beer float- get to have 4 tasters. I enjoyed the various beers (one cider). There was a lighter beer to dark and cider. Food We very much enjoyed the food here. My wife had the lamb which was very well cooked- succulent and tasty but of a good size for dinner. The theme of the place is the healthiest pub/bar you can come to- so you wont get chips but sweet potato fries which I enjoyed. Conclusion The Triangle needed a central place for the local community. Another boring pub would have gone and come but I am thinking The Willow has a good place here and is worth a visit. For dinner/lunch/causal drinks. Family friendly, good food, mid-range prices, friendly staff and great bright and vibrant atmosphere. I would recommend you to give it a try! Visited August 2016

The Member of staff that helped myself and two colleges to work through the menu was both very helpful and knowledgable about the food the restaurant would be serving that eve. We decided after some discussion to select a variety of starters and small dishes which were delicious and thoroughly enjoyed each one. We were made to feel very welcome and would certainly recommend The Willow to other colleagues and friends.
