An amazing dinning experience. Menu has some unique items, variety was amazing. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Very clean. Food all cooked to order. Very reasonably priced.

Fab place. 100% recommend! Great menu with some querky things on it like the Dosa's. Really tasty fab food. Meat was really tender. Service was fab. Mango Lassi was amazing! Thankyou :)
Absolutely fantastic place to eat. The food was absolutely superb and the service matched it.
The guy who served us (I think his name was Jay) was extremely helpful when picking which dishes we would like.
The portion sizes were quite large so he advised us to go light on the side accompaniments (naans, poppadoms etc). Other places would likely push this kind of thing to make more money.
The dishes he suggested for some of our party were perfect for their requirements.
We were shocked how little all of our food and drink came to when we received the bill. It was incredible value for money.
We will 100% visit again and highly recommend this place.
We are new here in Hull and was craving for some Indian food until we found Pop dum. Service was top notch and food was delicious. Jey served us with some hot crispy vada which made me felt like home away from home. Thank you. Definitely coming again
Real authentic south Indian food (especially Tamil and Malayali food). I ordered Masala doda( it's usually very large at a cheap price), Chettinadu chicken gravy (I loved it 🤤😍), Mutton chukka ( Kerala style, Top notch), parotta, Fish Fry ( Dawa fish fry style, 1st time I had tasty fish without any smell after coming to the UK), Cheese Non ( Authentic north Indian style), Uluntha vada, paruppu vada, Rose milk, faluda 🤤🤩 ( Everything is fresh and tasty). Of course very cheap compared to London, Edinburgh, Leeds, and all other cities.
Their service is very lovely💓👍, I didn't expect Yorkshire (Hull) would have such an authentic food place. As a Tamilian, I was over the moon 💓🤩
Went for a meal for the first time and was not disappointed, welcoming and friendly staff, great recomenditions on choice of food which was fresh, tasty, and plenty full. We went for our anniversary and we had a balloon given for it which we got to bring home(thank you that so thoughtful) and to say it was 110% value for money is no understatement. We highly recommend and shall be back, thank you.
Took my partner and two boys (11&12) for a very late tea and had booked our table for 7.30 but was running late which even though they were busy was not a problem. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter . We were never rushed and when we did order our food he was very helpful with recommendations and what each dish consisted of. All our food was excellent. Unfortunately I cannot remember all of the dish as had names I cannot remember. The prices of the food are very reasonable but we weren't drinking alcohol so I cannot comment on those prices. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. We will definitely be going back again.
Literally one of the most friendly and helpful restaurants we as a family have eaten in locally in a long time. From start to finish our experience was brilliant. We reserved a table for a birthday, special touches was put in place by the venue which was a lovely touch (balloons and cake). The service was ace, the waiter recommended dishes, he spoke with us regarding how spicy we liked our food, and even brought dishes out for us to try complimentary (which were delicious). Family friendly, easy parking outside, friendly and a great selection on food on the menu. The spice and different flavours of food was delicious. Most definitely returning very soon. Thank You.
Food was delicious. Just need to improve serving time. Especially at busy times. We had to wait for more than an hour for the food. Otherwise, lovely staff and place.
Incredible food, a really nice setting amd fantastic service. If you aren't familiar with Kerala cuisine, the staff are super friendly and always on hand to find the perfect dish for you! I will 100% be returning with my family very soon. Thanks guys!

Food was delicious and one of the best I have had in UK so far. Had the authentic South indian taste which I loved. They also gave us a complimentary starter. Would visit frequently.
It’s a surprise to me to find an authentic South Indian restaurant in Hull. We ordered Hot & Sour Mutton soup, Rasam Vadai, Masala Vadai, Chettinad Chicken curry, veg biryani, parotha and chapati. Every dish was purely authentic. No fusion at all. We loved every bite of the food. Never had such good veg biryani in UK yet. Rasam & soup.. omg you can tell it that everything was cooked and served in-house. Service was also good. Friendly staff. It’s a complete value for money. Do visit.
Authentic South Indian Food. Eveything was freshly cooked. Chicken biriyani and Tandoori chicken was delicious. Service was pretty fast as well.
Birthday treat for me off the missus really enjoyed high quality tasty food lovely cold lion beer and friendly staff , peppered lamb curry was ace 👍
Popdom is nice options for any Indian, Pakistani, or shrilankan family..food is awesome...and affordable as compared to other Indian restaurants...its always full when we visit...must try its biryani and mango lassi..

Absolutely fantastic! We went as a party of 8 Christmas eve, the food was exceptional and very tasty. The staff went above and beyond to explain the dishes and was even able to cater for gluten intolerant guest. The service was relaxed and made you feel very comfortable. We will definitely be working our way through all of the menu and would definitely recommend this lovely little restaurant to our friends and family. Thank you once again for a memorable night 😊
