Recently changed over to new management from Greece. This means that the menu is slowly and steadily being infused by Greek small, deli type goodies for everyone to try. Of course the place still keeps its traditional sandwich shop options, yet now there is far more choice. The latter is handmade with great fresh and healthy ingredients. Definitely worth your quick visit, as the daily specials are a pleasant surprise to the old "What am I having for lunch?" conundrum. Staff remain welcoming, friendly and smiling, with the added extra of the new owner's famous Greek "filoxenia" hospitality, to you and I.
Great food, great service, good range of menu options. Will definitely be making a return visit. We ate in (there are a few bar stools and a small table) and had greek gyros and souvlaki, both excellent.
Fresh food made with love..Traditional English breakfast for £4...Greek authentic home made cooking by Mata like no other...Salads , pastries, baguettes, paninis, herbal tea , frappe....spoilt for choice really...
Staff are always so friendly and accommodating here and prices are great for what you get!
It's a shame when I've been they've often had some items on their menu that they've run out of.
I could not recommend the gyros or halloumi wrap more!
As a tradesman in hull i have visited many sandwich shops in the hull area but none come close to Sorrentos. Great value for money and quality of products. Ladies always friendly and remember you order which is a nice touch
I have visited Sorrentos for years. The food quality has always been absolute top quality. I love the owners and all the staff are so friendly. I can't wait to eat there again.
Sorrento's is my favourite sandwhich shop. In it's area it absolutely smokes the competition, and the bacon ;). The women serving are allways friendly and the sandwhiches are great value. My personal favourites are the BLTs and the meatball and salsa special.
Great food. Really cheap and good value. Offers more than just sandwiches, both hot and cold via the specials.
Absolutely amazing. Only went in by the offchance and I'm so glad I did. Gyro was amazing will certainly return.
