This branch of Pizza Express has a feel of a school canteen. Chairs aren’t overly comfortable. The food is as expected from this chain, though our polenta chips were very soggy and not crispy at all; pizza (Romana Padana) was nice though. We visited our local Pizza Express in Hull city centre, yesterday (10/02/24). We had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant was super busy (which you expect on a Saturday) so service were slightly slow but we expected this. We was served by Shayan and he was lovely, and his customer service was
Great restaurant, good prices, tasty food, nice view, awesome service by waiters. My only complaint would be that when I ordered, they brought everything simultaneously (starters, salad and main). I would have prefer the starters and the salad to be served first, and when I finish them to be served
I've been in Pizza Express a few times now and each visit has been positive.
The pizzas are made fresh and you even watch them being made! The selection of toppings is very good and includes some interesting choices.
The staff are very nice, patient and understanding. Nothing is too much for them.

Had the lasagne and polenta fries which was absolutely gorgeous whilst got my drink dough ball and soft drink free by using the reward on the app. honestly totally recommend using the app. Staff was always quick to get whats was needed and ensure that I was truly satisfied with my time there. Chill
Superb meal, thoroughly impressed with all of the staff and their knowledge. Restaurant was clean and welcoming and food outstanding. Very much looking forward to returning.
Excellent service. Friendly, efficient, and courteous. Dinner was delicious. We had pesto dough balls and jalapeno doughballs, which were lovely, however it's back to the doppio next time because we love duelling over the dipping sauces. OH had the Calabrese as per usual and I had American Hot Roma
3 out of the 4 of us had pizza & tbf all said they were excellent, however the grand pollo Milanese was poor at best. Came for my birthday and it was a fabulous meal! The staff held a cake for me and sang happy birthday ✨✨✨ would come again!!! The app discounts were amazing too!
Jess really made sure we were looked after. She really recommended items on the menu and helped us out by explaining how to use the app. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and a hard working team.
Love coming here we always have an amazing time. All the food great. All the staff are amazing and the service is quick. Definitely can’t wait to come back.
Had a brilliant time, food was excellent and all the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Hats off to the manager Craig with his recommendations on what food to get and the service he delivered. Definitely will be coming back.
