I have been wanting to see what The Barrow Boys was like. And it is a great place to eat and have a drink. I think it is a 1930s/40s theme. The days of a prohibition speak easy. It carries this off really well. I will definaty have to bring the missus for a meal. Look forward to trying the menu.
Recently photographed a 40th Birthday party here, found the staff very polite and couldn't do enough for the guests. Drinks are reasonably priced and they have a great choice.
The decor at this venue is very classy, and there isn't any where else in Hull like it.
Would definitely recommend, whether it be for a bite to eat and a beer or a few cocktails on a Friday/ Saturday night.
Went on a Thursday evening great place loved our evening, cocktails are fantastic especially the Tommy gun! Food amazing and so delicious Will definitely be returning very soon. Staff are so nice and take the time to talk to you.

A nice place for a meal on cold November night. With staff who are really friendly and helpful. Food that both looks and tastes wonderful. Steak done to perfection in the massive mixed grill.
Good atmosphere.staff(jack)really friendly and efficient. Food brilliant.only 1 fault.(mot bad though)portions are on the small side.suggest charge a little more and bigger portion.other than that.fabulous..coming back next week.a plus to this.lewie and jo Coyle came in and we had a chat.
Had food here last night with a strawberry mojito was great.We didn't wait to long for the food and when we got it,it was well presented and it tasted great.The mojito was even better , will definitely visit again.

Very nice impromptu visit to Barrow Boys for Sunday lunch, food was excellent, service a little slow but was not a problem as it was very busy, would recommend a visit.
Had the best cottage pie I’ve had in a long time, the flavours of pie and crisp of the veg made you feel at home.
Cocktails was great but not really somewhere to go if u want to sit down
