We made our first visit today, I only had a bacon sandwich which was very tasty, my partner had a rocky road which she struggled to finish as it was a generous portion. As for drinks I chose a bottle of old peculiar, which was very nice, and my partner had a soft drink.it would have been very easy t
This might be the best café in Hull. From the moment you enter you're made to feel welcome as you're greeted by enthusiastic, well mannered staff. The All Day Big Breakfast delivers as the name suggests and their latte was of great standard too. Fried bread and black pudding were things I hadn't had
Popped in for the first time today Sunday and was asked if we'd booked a table, we hadn't as only wanted drinks and cake but they made room for us and we ended up staying for food. Staff were lovely and welcoming and drinks nice and tasty and the food, well comfort food at it's best ( bangers and ma
I have been a customer for almost 15 years now and a favourite place of mine for a hot sandwich and a latte. Food is a tad on the expensive side, but the quality is great so can't grumble. I've always liked the décor of the shop and the staff are always friendly and up for a chat and a bit of banter
First time we have come here for a while. Good quality food at reasonable prices. We just had a light night but roast Sunday lunches looked great. Will have to try some other time. A very pleasant place to eat. Will be back.
Fantastic food at a great price. Mike is a real host. Accommodating, friendly with a bit of banter. And the food is great! Really deserves five stars, excellent little place. Pays to stay local. Why go elsewhere when this place is on our doorstep!
Just only just discovered this Gem having moved onto the Keepmoat Estate. I've since returned back 3 times. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Baby Pram friendly . Lovely fresh food and coffee. They will have our business for a very long time! :)
Delicious coffee and cheese and bacon flaky turnover. Fish pie with mushy peas on lunch menu today. Must try and catch it soon! Great friendly service too.
Pooped in for a coffee and sandwich while my car was being cleaned. Very impressive as always. Perfectly clean establishment, good value and attentive staff
Does a great breakfast with fried bread and black pudding available if you want it. Nice outdoor seating area and friendly staff
Just popped in for an "unlock" breakfast and we were seated together with plenty of distance.... felt safe and the food was its usual excellent quality !! Highly recommended !! Previous review below Always freindly with a good selection of home cooked quality food
Stopped by this afternoon as the missus had rang us to say our oven had packed up, as it was getting on they had ran out of a lot of ingredients, the owner said he could do us two mince steak dinners to take out if I could pop back in 30 minutes, some guy sat a table was halfway through his and sa
Good hot sandwiches i.e sausagemeat, mushroom and chestnut stuffing burger with melted cheese and crispy bacon if wanted in a large warm soft bread cake. Coffee is nice and hot with a rich flavour. Definitely worth going. Hot meals are also available which are worth the money.
Without doubt one of the best Sunday lunches I have had in a long time. Real home cooked food served with personality in stylish, relaxed surroundings. A far cry from its humble days of been a sandwich shop.
Lovely little hidden gem. Food was great and the owners very friendly. Would definitely recommend
Been going here 25 years or more when it was the happy shopper before boothferry park. Always service with a smile and now the sandwiches and food choices are excellent, cafe, toilet and parking too. Definitely 5*
Excellent food every time I have been. Very pleasant staff.
