Very friendly staff, good warming comfort food, just right for a crisp, cold winters day. Its a legendary Hull place, a rite of passage, as Hull as the Hull Fair in October. Thoroughly recommended. You'll love it.
Amazing food at good prices in a great location in the city. The classic Hull pattie is sold here for 90p, and it is superb. The chips are also very good.
Good value, reasonably portioned fish and chips served straight, fairly with no fuss... Bob's secret recipe patties are a Hull speciality... remember to add a good dash of chip spice too!!
Here we are not talking about gastronomy. It's about having a good and simple F&C in your plate!
And Bob Carver manage to execute that perfectly.
Fish is fresh and fries are cooked with it that give a tasty result!
No sauces, only salt and vinegar! For the purists.

Excellent service and top class fish and chips. Try the extra large Haddock meal.....it beat me and I had a big appetite.
