Always excellent, always good value, always plenty of food on your plate. I would definitely recommend it.

Thought I'd review here as it has many mixed reviews.. Tried it for the first time today. I had a carvery, gammon and turkey were very nice.. My girlfriend had a kids ham and mushroom pizza.. Half of which we had to ask for a box for as filled herself up with the unlimited chips! Obviously due to a customer, the mayonnaise at the salad bar had bits of salad in it.. Would suggest sachets of mayonnaise to prevent happening again.. But still a lovely affordable meal with staff always smiling.. We'll be back!!
First time for me and my husband. Was lovely and staff very helpful and friendly. Only minor pick is the salad was a bit rubbery but wasn’t a massive problem. Will be coming back with my daughter to take advantage of the ice cream station
I visited with my 2 sons at 3.30, on Sunday 12th Feb. There was a massive que at the carvery. The food was lovely loads to choose from fresh and hot. Loving the mash potatoes. We ate everything on our plates. The staff were very helpful and polite. Will return and recommend to friends and family.
Will try pizza next time.....
It was my daughters birthday yesterday, there was 8 of us with my grandchildren. We all enjoyed the carvery, even my grandchildren enjoyed it. I took a cake for my daughter which a member of staff brought out with candles on after the meal. The staff are very polite and friendly. Thank you so much we will be coming again x
Beautiful carvary. They ran out of stuffing so we sat down to eat and chef brought my son a big bowl full of stuffing to our table. Great staff and great fresh food

First time here with a friend of mine. Wasn't particularly busy at the time we went (weekend, 2:30pm), but that was perfect for us! We ordered online and paid for our bill online, too. Only ever interacted with someone once the food and drinks were brought out, but they were very courteous, helpful, and friendly. Food was delicious! I only got photos of my order, but what I got was yummy! A hot chocolate, cheesy beefy chips (I can't recall exactly what these were called on the menu, sorry) and my meal was a southern fried chicken sandwich (also with chips, plain). Everything on my end came out to less than £13, but had I gone for a water instead - it would have been a little less than a tenner for it all, which is not bad!! I'd absolutely come back again to try out more from their menu; they had a varied menu of things from salads, sandwiches, and burgers to even pizza and pastas! All of which sounded so delicious, it was hard to decide what to order lol. Overall, loved it here and would love to come back again!
Well three roasts available all fresh, moist and cooked well. Vegetables were also nice. Only grumble was that the sausages and pigs in blankets were over done - really should of said something at the time but we didn’t - it did not spoil the meal as the rest was so good. Staff were lovely on all sides especially Annie who has been there for thirty years, how she keeps smiling with kind words is amazing. We will be back. 👍

Staff all friendly, Annie was attentive and welcoming. Food as always was delicious. As I was hungry I ordered a sticking toffee pudding in the meal deal. Perfect.
I ordered by the app for home delivery so my son and I could share a large carvery.
It stated you get extra meat a sausage and 2 Yorkshire pudding
We received standard meat, no sausage, and 1 Yorkshire pudding
What is the point in offering a large carvery and charging for it

The food is to die for, comforting and warm, and the service is impeccable. Our waitress Annie was amazing, great manners and a good attitude. However, the decoration is slightly quaint.

Went for a cheeky breakfast- staff (Donna) was amazing, so friendly and helpful, explained eveeything and showed us where to go and how drinks/toast etc worked. Food was lovely. Unlimited drinks as well !

Food was delicious and large portions. Lots to choose from on the menu and excellent prices. We were served by Anna who was very helpful and cheerful bless her she never stopped serving diners she was rushed off her feet but kept smiling. 10/10 for customer service Anna. I will be recommending West Bulls to my friends and family.
Me and my family visited today for out tea. Me & my partner had the large carvery, my daughter a small and my 6yr son had chicken nuggets to which he said get a 15 out of 10 been the best nuggets he's had. We had a lovely lady called Annie Buffey in our section, she was always coming to our table asking if everything was ok and if we needed anymore drinks. Wonderful service from her and the food was excellent and hot
We requested a table in a quiet area of the establishment which was granted and we had a lovely bench table away from the main area which was appreciated. The lady who showed us to our table informed us if the ease of ordering on the app but unfortunately the vegetarian carvery meal is unavailable so we had to queue at the bar. On ordering I was told someone would inform us when the vegetarian dish would be cooked as it would take 20 minutes but after 25 minutes I approached the carvery to find it was sat waiting and burnt. The children's desserts arrived and the ice cream sundae was just 3 scoops of vanilla ice-cream and on asking the server she informed us that is the dessert but it is detailed otherwise on the menu and we located an ice-cream station ourselves. The food was very nice.
When we were seated we had a very loud table next to us. They actually commented that they'd been asked to quieten down by the staff but had no intention of doing so. Explained to the lovely wait staff that my child has difficulty handling loud noises (ear defenders on and still too loud) and they very kindly moved us to a quieter area. Service was excellent and the food was delicious.
Would definitely recommend The West Bulls.
It is a really nice carvery in a modern cosy setting. The chef gave us a good portion of turkey and beef, then you help yourself to potato and veg, which is better than ordering it off a menu because you just take as much or as little of what you like the look of. All the veg was beautifully cooked, the roast potatoes perfect. It's nice that you have a choice of apple sauce, mint, horseradish, and cranberry. There's quite a choice of beer, unfortunately, no cask conditioned real ale. The staff are very nice and friendly. A good-sized car park, it's the same company as the lambwath, so it is basically the same. They are both good places and deservedly very popular. There is a dartboard but no pool table. This is a good food pub.
Had a lovely family meal last Thursday in The West Bulls. We were a group of 5 adults and each meal we ordered was lovely, good quality and fairly priced. Luke and the team provided excellent customer service 😊
Food spot on, our waiter Annie was very nice and couldn't have helped more, experience was amazing, the only bad thing I have to say about it is I had a pint of Coors and it tasted watered down and really nasty tasting but appart from that one thing everything else was fantastic.

We had a lovely carvery here, plenty of choice, even on what looked like a very busy day for them. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A very welcoming atmosphere - will definitely be going back. Thank you for a great meal.
