What a lovely friendly place, food was fabulous, cakes to die for, so yummy, staff so very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble, wonderful choice of fruit and veg in the farm shop and home cooked pies and pasties to take home, already planning my next visit
Thought I would pay this cafe a visit today after seeing it on fb.
Well I wasn’t disappointed!
Chris was so welcoming and the food is amazing.
Would highly recommend anyone to pay this lovely cafe a visit.

Fantastic cafe and farm shop. Very warm and welcoming staff that make a really pleasant atmosphere. Cakes are locally made and delicious, with a great savoury menu if you fancy a spot of lunch. Well worth a visit.
What an amazing little place with amazing staff! Moved out here a year ago and was recommended for fresh fruit and veg I went for a visit and it is now the only place I go! Chris and the team are absolutely Awsome nothing is too much trouble, Chris always carries my purchases to my car (you don't get that anywhere else) I haven't been in the cafe yet but have purchased the beautiful home made food to take away. Soooo yummy! Thank you Chris for a wonderful experience every time I visit �
Visited this wonderful little farm shop with Leonard and was amazed at the beautiful produce - local and at excellent prices. We bought a fresh Chicken and Chorizo Pie - absolutely yummy �. Be sure to visit this little gem of a shop you won't be disappointed!
Had lunch here today everything was delicious the homemade crab cakes are fantastic, all the staff go out of their way to make you welcome what a lovely place to eat maybe next time i will have room to try one of the homemade cakes :)
I was treated a spot of lunch yesterday by my hubby Karl. We truly had a lovely time looking out towards the pond whilst eating gorgeous food. Very accommodating towards us both... especially moi the picky pescatrian. Finished off our lunch with a scrummy lemon crumble & custard. I forgot the photographic evidence! We will be returning. We bought some lovely fresh produce as we vacated also.

It’s been a year since we discovered Halsham Waterside Farm shop and cafe, and more than ever it is such a joy to visit. The Farm shop is well stocked with fantastic fresh local produce, and much, much more. The cafe is a must visit each time, it’s a lovely setting for coffees, teas and delicious homemade treats, along with beautiful breakfast and lunch options. Above all, we would like to thank Chris and his team for their friendship and support, and for something that is free every visit, and that’s big smiles! Here’s to the next year and the one after, and the one after...... Thanks Halsham!
We love it at Halsham Waterside cafe Chris makes us really welcome and even though our little boy has issues with mobility and isn't the best for sitting still we never are made to feel awkward or uncomfortable. Oliver loves to see Chris and always asks to go to the cafe. If you haven't been yet don't leave it much longer the service is fantastic, the food is lovely and the setting looking over the lake is great too
Lovely fresh food, great quiche and salad lunch, and naughty but nice cherry scone, produce in the shop really fresh, very welcoming staff, will be back soon �

Popped in while in the area ( rented cottage in Ottringham). Coffee and bacon/egg sandwich. Had dog with us so used shelter outside. No heating but out of the rain. Pleasant staff who told us about local attraction ,Constable Mausoleum. Parked car , walked around the ponds with dog and up to Mausoleum and All Saints Church. Pleasant couple of hours spent.
Stopped by on a bike ride with my husband. Lovely place, nice and peaceful. Had a coffee and cake. The cake was homemade and fantastic. We had the Pecan and white chocolate brownie. Service was excellent. Prices not bad. Highly recommended will revisit.
Fantastic place for fresh fruit and vegetables, cooked meals and a range of other healthy and even less healthy delights. Excellent cafe with a range of delicious food and hot/cold drinks. Lovely views of the lake with a resident Kingfisher and Barn Owl for wildlife watching!

Superb farm shop,cafe and gifts. Very helpful and friendly staff, what s great find nestled in the countryside with a lovely lake. Their pasties are delicious took two home,fresh vegetables too, beautifully displayed shop. We will be regulars now. 🙂
Popped once whilst at work for a takeaway tea. Went back today to try the food and was not disappointed. The food was lovely, and the people were too very welcoming. Would definitely go back

Stopped off for a snack on a long cycle ride. Beautiful view over the lakefrom the cafe. Lots of choice of snacks/ cakes. Friendly staff.
Arrived towards the end of the day (almost closing) but still served us, coffee and cakes were fabulous. Farm shop lovely too. Will definitely be going back with the family 🤩 thank you!
