We booked on line and then we phoned and added an additional person to our table which was no problem at all.
On arrival we were welcomed and shown our table and spoken to in a very polite manner. We all had a carvery with no complaints about the food. The young lady who looked after us was very polite and friendly and made the visit even more enjoyable. The only comment was the area we sat in could have been a little warmer but as more people arrived it did warm up.
Had a midweek birthday carvery here tonight, 5 adults and an 8 year old. We were served by Yasmin who was absolutely lovely and nothing was too much hassle. She went out of her way to make our 8yo comfortable despite him being unable to talk to her too. Could not ask for a better server. Thank you.
We haven’t been to a Toby Carvery for years but we really enjoyed the food. It was hot and fresh and served by a really friendly chef. We were greeted with a warm and friendly smile from the manager I think. No fed up faces. The whole team worked well together, Victoria our waitress was very friendly, helpful and on the ball. We would definitely go again.
We booked into the Innkeepers Lodge and went over to the Toby Carvary for drinks and dinner. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table. We were then asked if we would like to order a drink and asked if we were having a Toby Carvery which we were. We were asked to go over to the Carvery and get our meat and help ourselves to the potatoes, vegetables and gravy. Our drinks came to the table and the meal was enjoyable. Unfortunately no one asked us if we wanted dessert so we missed out on the Cookie Dough Sundea, we were very disappointed. We will have to go for our meal earlier next time so hopefully we'll not miss it. Staff were polite and friendly.
I would suggest that new customers need to know that when the carvery closes you can't get dessert as everything food wise finishes.
Stayed here, had some issues with food availability but the morning manager was lovely and went above needed to redeem the service so left happy, and we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a problem. Gone back for dinner tonight and was served by Vicky who was lovely, made sure the App benefits were included and had a lovely manner.
Love the room, cleaners topped up the hot drinks supplies without being asked and has a lovely feel. I like the privacy and being able to be left to it once checked in.
We went for their all you can eat breakfast. We expected it to be nice, but not as lovely as it was. I don't know how they can keep the food to such a high standard, when it isn't cooked to order. But everything was delicious. Great value too.

The carvery is fantastic and hotel immaculately clean and comfortable. But what sets this place apart is the wonderful care and service of the whole team. During my parents' stay my dad had to be ambulanced to hospital, and in the days that followed every single member of the Toby team - from cleaning staff to front desk - made a point of checking in with my mum and really took care of her while she was vulnerable. What a wonderful place this is. Come for a roast and stay for the hospitality. Thank you so much.
Beautifully cooked food at the carvery! Great choice of meat veg and sauces! Friendly staff - service with a smile. Apple crumble could have been warmer and the lime and soda a little less heavy on the lime.
Went in with family on Monday, seemed very busy but we we're seated promptly. There wasn't a large wait for food as we expected, and the carvery was fantastic. We we served by a lovely young man Marcus. Very polite and welcoming, made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely return again.
Looks a little run down but, as soon as you get through the doors, the warmth and delicious aromas of the roast carvery make everything in your day okay! Our lovely server was Judy and she couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Food was great, good food and good value. Coffee and sweet was also very good. Was told that everything was made fresh on the premises!
Just visited the Willerby carvery with my family for a Roast dinner. We have not been before but would definitely consider coming back.The food was very good but what really stood out for me were the staff. It was very busy and the team on duty were superb.. friendly, efficient, courteous and happy . Chefs also .. very cheerful, engaging with customers and nothing to much trouble. Please pass this on.
To be honest everything was fantastic! We had booked in advance and were seated at a great table. The staff were super friendly and at no point did we feel pressured to be quick so lovely and relaxed with great service.
The food was as usual lovely, the carvery was first class and the Yorkshire Pudding wrap is great value

Stayed here for 2 nights as the location was perfect for our needs. Room was very cold on arrival but didn't take too long to warm up once we turned the heater on and drew the curtains.
The mattress was quite hard, but that is personal preference.
All staff were very friendly, welcoming and hard working.
Would recommend staying here.
Our go to place for a carvery. We have tried almost all in the area. Being vegetarian it's not always easy to find an interesting selection of vegetables and sides to go with your meatless meal! At Toby carvery there are always plenty of choices often with interesting twists!
The carvery is on all day, and it never surprises me how many people are enjoying their meals. Always worth booking in advance as it does get busy.
