Lovely spot in the busy shopping centre. We arrived a few minutes before opening time but staff were very helpful and let us in to be seated anyway. They moved tables around to accommodate us having a large pushchair with us, along with their friendly attitude made eating here very enjoyable and relaxing. Great selection across the whole menu of food and drinks, we opted for the 3 courses for around £22 which is great value. Most restaurants that offer this deal usually have a very restricted choice but we found plenty that we liked on this deal. Drink and food service was very efficient, especially considering we arrived early too. We also thoroughly enjoyed all of our courses, hats off to the chefs. We were given adequate time between each course where the wait staff were great at keeping tables clean and tidy as well as checking in on tables. The whole place including the bathrooms was kept very clean and the decor and general atmosphere of the place was relaxing and inviting. We would definitely return when in the area.

Zizzi was an unexpected treat for lunch. The smoked salmon pasta had a wonderful creamy sauce and popping shrimp. The past was tender and al dente. The staff was friendly although it took a short wait to get the check.

Been to Zizzi 3 times in the past week while on holiday in Hull, each and every time the staff have been amazing and welcoming, happy to answer any questions, and happy to give their personal recommendations on a meal. Georgina and James have been amazing with James serving us during each visit, I cannot praise the staff enough for their service during our holiday. The food each time has been amazing and I'm thrilled to finally find a good restaurant that has a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options. It is really fun to to watch the pizzas being made which further enhances the experience.

We don’t usually eat out much because of allergies, but Zizzi really made sure it was a safe and enjoyable experience for us. There are plenty of gluten free options and the food was clearly marked as non-gluten with stickers on the plates. We ended up eating there twice during our time in Hull and I think the non-gluten pizza was better than the pasta, but overall it was really enjoyable.

Great experience tonight after driving the 2.5 hours to Hull from home for work thinking about a very specific pasta dish the whole way up. Unfortunately it's been replaced by something new on the menu but as the restaurant was very quiet (nearing the end of a Sunday evening shift when I arrived) James was able to go out of his way to see if there was any stock left for me and make it happen. Fab pasta dish and thanks to the chefs as well for going out of their way as well to cook something that's now off the menu and adapting it for me.

Food was lovely. Service was fantastic - especially from the young lady with a Liverpool accent (Sorry forgot her name!) You just need bigger tables for two people. We did struggle to fit the pizza boards on with sides and drinks.

Nice place for dinner and good value for money if you use the set menu or tastecard. Very friendly and efficient waiting staff. Would visit again but would try different dishes as three out of four things we tried were topped with the same pesto which wasn’t that great.

Early evening today we were looked after by Ellie in Zizzi, St Stevens precinct Hull. The restaurant was quite busy and single handedly she ran the front of house, attending to ALL the customers with courtesy and efficiency. What an absolute star!! She is a true ambassador for the company and, because of her excellent service, we plan on returning to the restaurant when we visit Hull again. Incidentally the lady who appeared to be in charge when we first arrived was unwelcoming and inattentive, blatantly ignoring us whilst knowing that we were waiting to be seated. Thankfully she soon disappeared and left us in Ellie's capable hands.

Staff was so extremely lovely and gave us a great service, especially Georgina and James. The food wait time wasn't that long and the food is to die for

We dined here on the 12th February and ordered from the valentines menu. We was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and appreciated the polite customer service we received by the waiting staff. We are definitely considering eating here again or at another zizzi restaurant elsewhere!

I thought I’d book a table for Valentine’s Day with my partner and we came in to a very busy restaurant! The staff were rushed off their feet but still managed to get us a drink whilst we waited for our table to be available. I just want to say what amazing service I was given - especially to the young female manager on shift who made sure everything was okay. I came round to ordering my food and the male manager took my order. The food took a little longer than expected but we were made aware of this when we entered and we were completely satisfied because of this. A couple sat near us were not happy, for some reason, at a point in the night (may I say they were very rude to the staff) but the staff handled this excellently. Overall, a big thank you to all the staff on shift who helped make our special night very inclusive, safe, and happy for us both! 😁

Food was amazing, service was really quick and on the ball since we was a large group. Great options for vegans.
