Well my wife and I eat out a lot and we both loved it here. It's compact downstairs with a small bar that does serve a very decent range of drinks. Their wine is not expensive either. Now remember this is one of the oldest houses in Hull that's been converted into this fantastic pub restaurant. Upst
Cozy, casual bar with very delicious food. The service was very friendly and happy and gave us great recommendations. Highly recommended! If we come back to Hull, we will definitely go back here.

Fantastic food, had the scallops to start with which where truly delicious, and then the hake and my hubby had the pork, you will not be disappointed.
Really good food and service. Steak was perfectly cooked as were the scallops. Creme brulee was also delicious. Worth a visit!
Already reviewed this but I can't rate this place highly enough. Food was exceptional and service was great. Not cheap but God it's worth it.
Great pub, Shoot the Bull by another name. Great food, amazing. Tiny place, upstairs seating too. All staff amazing, knowledgeable bar staff and great chefs. Thanks for a few great nights!

Shared 4 starters between the two of us. Great beer selection, but sadly the wine was warm on arrival. Nothing that an ice cube and a short freezer stay couldn't solve.
Great mussels with a tasty bread, pork balls, mackerel fillet and a good pigeon breast.

This restaurant was the perfect bowl of porridge at the end of the night. After a lovely day exploring the culture of Hull, we were keen to end it right. The first pub we walked into made us fear for our lives, the second didn't serve food and we were wandering the streets when we spied the Old Hous
Lovely place for a date night. We had a fabulous meal despite the steak being cooked at a medium+ instead of medium rare. Cheese board and wine were perfect. Service and atmosphere is great.
