Great little cafe, lovely and pleasant staff. Was a busy visit which they handled really well. Presentation could be better on the breakfast omelette, maybe a.small ramakin of beans and side salad. Overall, loved it.
As the name suggests, they're simple. I stopped off for a small fryup before hitting the road and had the smallest meal they offered - was sufficient to fill a hole (and cope with the hangover).
It's not a huge place, with about 5 tables indoors and more outside, but although it was a good morning

What a wonderful little gem. Stopped for a coffee and the service here was great, super brownies! It was clean and not a ridiculous price. The view of trinity church is also nice away from the hustle and bustle of other streets. I would highly recommend, it is exactly what their name states, simple
My favourite cafe in Trinity Square. Great coffee and excellent food at really good prices. Staff are great. Friendly with excellent customer service. I would recommend this cosy little cafe with seating outside, the best of both, to anyone visiting or living in Hull. Where else can you get a lovel
A love cup of coffee was had by us both when we visited. This was the first time I had used this cafe and what a delight it was. The location of the cafe directly across from the minister gave a continental feel to the experience, a few more cafes and bars you could imagine yourself in St Mark's Squ

A great little cafe, with lovely views, polite and helpful staff. If you're looking for somewhere with great, simple food, try here. And, to top it off, it's at a good price.

Very good and friendly service. After struggling to find any other cafes in Hull (bars, bars, everywhere!), I arrived here and was pleasantly surprised with the friendly staff and extremely good value food! If I'm ever in Hull again, I'll definitely stop by!
Had first visit this lunchtime and what a treat! Visited with Mum and Sis and we all had the same - Hot Chocolate with Toasted Tea Cake - mmmm yum yum yum! The Hot Chocolate tasted of Chocolate (some places it's just hot water!) and the Toasted Tea Cakes were perfect, lots of butter dribbling down

Came across this tea room on Sunday and had the best breakfast I’ve ever had , I went big and boy was it , was quite busy but my order was quick to be brought outside, I’m sure my dog will be wanting to go back for another visit soon as he was made a fuss of and even given a sausage and a dog treat
Visited here again today , there eggs Benedict are the best I’ve ever had , and the cost is very reasonable , my poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the two ladies who work there are really friendly , I’ll be back next week 👌🏻

The burger I ordered from here was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time but shame it did not have the option for any sides other than salad so I got a plate full of salad and a burger full of salad would have preferred some chips
