I went here with a friend for a belated birthday treat of afternoon tea and it was really nice. A nice room at the back, separated from the main bar area. Self serve tea and coffee and then the food brought to the table. Would definitely recommend.

1st time visiting. Warm greeting by staff. I had cheeseburger and fries my partner had halloumi and mushroom burger. Both excellent. Pub nice and warm will definitely go again. Update visited again fish and chips lovely friend had the lasagna
I come here on a regular basis, I always find the staff friendly and the food is always delicious and home cooked which I like I especially like the pie and the home made chips.

Great place to go with family or friends the lovely atmosphere and always welcomed with a smile, very polite staff, and the food is great never had a bad meal yet. I have been going to duke of york for over two years now.
A last minute family lunch visit for my birthday. Lovely pub and atmosphere. Good selection for children. The outdoor area is a great option too and my son loved seeing the birds. Food was great and definitely recommend a visit.

I brought my parents here for lunch it was absolutely delicious all home made fresh & very tasty..I had fish ciabatta & chips it was devine my dad had Caesar salad &mam had scampi all superb ..we will be back
It has a cozy village pub atmosphere and is very friendly. Portion size and quality are great. Lovely staff.
Visit with Family, booked a table. Everything good when arriving, drinks order separately, Food really good when it came out, 2 fish & chips mushy peas. 2 real ale meat pie. Good friendly atmosphere
My sister and i have both just had a delicious afternoon gluten free tea, served beautifully, with unlimited tea and coffee, and a love smile from the lady serving, would highly recommend
