The ten Tors is under new owners as from last week, went for lunch with my sister today. Food was hot, well presented, and was delious 9/10. For all those previous bad comments.i can fully recommend the place. There is new furniture, replacing the old dark sticky tables and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We go to the TT every year for Xmas dinner and they never fail to exceed our expectations, so when we pop in for a spot of lunch during the year we aren't surprised when the food is amazing and the staff friendly and helpful........ and as for those pizza's, say no more! ❤ Jason & Elaine Dale Dawlish

Dinner for 4 last night, very glad we came, starters and Mains were enormous and delicious. All hot, well presented and timely. Then Eton mess to finish was seriously good. ( btw we all cook and are fussy about standards) will visit again

The Tens Tors has been taken over by Frank, we took a coach party of 50 there & everyone was in agreement that the food & landlord has improved 100%. If you have had a bad time there in the last year or so please give it another try as you will be glad that you did!

we dont always get things right but appreciate the feedback from all of our customers so that we may strive to put things right and make the next experience a good one. occasionally we have customers that upset other customers and staff they then take it upon themselves to place bad trip advisors or facebook quotes about our pub, so dont believe everything you hear come and visit us and have your own opinion. look forward to seeing and a warm welcome awaits.

Fabulous midweek carvery with excellent service. Great choice of veggies, all hot and well cooked. Choice of beef, ham or turkey with lovely round stuffing balls. The tables are well spaced out for privacy and the restaurant area was clean and bright. We would definitely come back to try the other delicious menu choices, especially the desserts.

Family get together for special occasion. Everyone had the carvery and were not disappointed. Range of meats and huge range of vegetables. Spoilt for choice. Good service. Only let down was sharing the conservatory with another group who were noisy.

It's not often you come across an eatery where everything was outstanding. Food was excellent. I had the ploughman's and it was probably one of the best I've had. It's was delicious and couldn't fault anything. Another person in our group had the carvery and again it was excellent. Service was outstanding from the time you walked through the door to you left. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. Friendly and polite at all times.

Celebrated a fortieth birthday yesterday evening, party of twenty two. Young staff were very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent too. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Very well run team. Thanks to all for making a memorable family event.

Absolutely delicious carvery; turkey and pork were cooked to perfection, the beef was more well-done than I would choose but that's just personal preference. The vegetable selection was extensive and really delicious. Nicely decorated and well-maintained premises with friendly staff.

Delicious Sunday roast, three different meats, my choice of lamb and turkey cooked perfectly. Lots of vegetable choices, all superbly cooked, especially the cauliflower cheese. Service very quick and efficient. Too full for desert. No rush to leave. Highly recommend.

We recently moved house and the Ten Tors is quite close to our new address. We decided to try their carvery while we're still unpacking. Quality of food was good and would have scored 5 but the beef had a fair chunk of gristle. We will be going back and I hope to give a better score next time.

Really nice big pub. It is just a corporate style place though and is much more food focused than beer, but if you're coming for the carvery that means you really won't be disappointed. The food is good however the plate/portion size is fairly small for the price, but still filling. Good atmosphere generally, not snobby but not common either. And they do serve a couple (expensive) real ales.

A lovely friendly place, where the food was lovely. I had the carvery and there was so much meat and plenty of choice of vegetables. My dad said his Yorkshire pudding was a bit hard but that was the only bad point. He could of picked another as unlike a lot of places they didn't limit you to one Yorkshire pudding. My husband had a special which he said was beautiful and my mum the soup of the day, which was Tomato and basil and she loved it. It was thick and tasty and definitely homemade.
