Fab walk around a very beautiful Kingsley Common followed by a splendid Sunday roast at the Cricketers Inn. Only choice was roast beef or lamb and everyone very happy with a meal very well served and delicious. Compliments to the chef! Bar staff also very pleasant and ambience really nice. Top marks
We came as a party of 10 for an impromptu late Saturday lunch. The pub was quite quiet and could accommodate a nice table for us all. We were very warmly welcomed. The decor was cute and interesting. The drinks selection was good. The menu was well priced and had both pub classics and some interesti

Also very accommodating in bring
Great grass pitch next to the lake. Food available Friday to Sunday. Village shop opposite open six days a week. Great walking directly from site, great beer. No charge but eating expected when available. Water and toilets available by arrangement.
Second time I’ve been in as many weeks for something to eat. Busy pub with lots of atmosphere, friendly staff and locals. Dogs, sofas and an open fire. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced but it did take quite a long time to be served.
I’ll definitely return for dinner and it would be great i
We popped in here for a late lunch after a walk and glad we did. It's a really welcoming pub, cosy inside, a huge garden with lots of benches and great food. We will definitely return when back in the area.
Visited to attend a friend,s birthday so suprised to find a packed pub in a remote location outside of Borden . Live music and burger stand added to an already buzzing atmosphere ..Nice to see families and locals using this little treasure. Management must be doing something right - would be intere
The staff here were able to fit us in the other week despite it being a busy Sunday! (turns our we weren't asking for much - 4 burgers!!). This pub has recently changed hands and is now a free house owned by people who live in the village and managed by a thoroughly professional team of bar and kitchen staff. Now open seven days a week, the pub also provides fine wines and superb dining.
Food was great and the staff friendly, did get busy for Sunday lunch and there was a very long wait. We had not booked though and they accommodated us plus gave us a round of free drinks for the long wait. Would go back, nice place to stop for some yummage.
Nice little find with tasty well cooked pub food. Very welcoming. If your looking for a laid back style with no fuss and easy atmosphere give it a go. We will be going back
