Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club Restaurant - Kingsdown - Photo album

12 of us played in the Martha Trust charity fundraiser on a very blowy spring day. The clubhouse staff were cheery and welcoming, the course was in brilliant condition, with a great half way house, if I lived closer I'd definitely join. Played again 2023, The course is still fantastic and the green
Beautiful location on top of the white cliffs with amazing views, both out to sea and over the rolling countryside… and a very friendly club, both members and staff. It’s actually a very stern test of golf with quite a few blind shots, long up-hillers and some very tricky sloping fairways (one drive
Absolutely superb. Good quality course which is a real thinking test for a golfer. It's cliff top, built on chalk so drains excellently. Notwithstanding, it plays like a links course requiring challenging approach play and careful putting. Good clubhouse and well stocked pro shop too. Couldn't think
£20.00 for a Twilight rate from 3 pm.... you can't get better deal than this in Kent for a Links course. All in very good condition. This course will test your skills...windy or not. Golf course management here will make or break your scorecard! Enjoy
We (germans) traveled into England and stayed into nearby Kingsdown camping. Just a 15min footwalk away. Was at the golf course 3 times. Awesome. Not only the views, thats given. The course is in a perfect shape. Played once a 9 and twice a 18 with Bob, Matt and Mick, which I just met on the course.
Beautiful place, my view it's 10 out of 10. Fantastic and friendly staff too
Excellent course and food, staff extremely friendly and helpful
Lovely place to be on a classic summer day. Would be very different in the winter. Quirky course with a lot of sloping lies and deceptively thick rough. Nice catering and friendly staff and members, it can be recommended.
We played there today and was amazed by the welcome. The club secretary came over to our breakfast table introducing himself and making us feeling so comfortable. He said how important it was to have guests at the club particularly at lthis time. After our rounds there were eight of us the club cap
Wow what a absolute cracker cliff top going out valley home . The views are stunning on a good weather day highly recommend a round here . But check the wind firstly and I reckon it’s a beast in high winds.
Attended a family party this weekend. Good parking, polite staff, very affordable bar prices, only downfall....only 2 toilets!! 1 for men and 1 for women/disabled
Played walmer and Kingsdown yesterday the course was in great condition greens are fantastic a really interesting course with superb views. The staff in the clubhouse and pro shop was very helpful. Will definitely play again .
Quite difficult to find - don’t trust your satnav (or Google Maps for that matter). But once you get there the staff are very welcoming and the course is great. This is essentially a parkland course placed on top of some cliffs and rolling hills. Definitely one not to carry on. My favourite part was
My husband plays here and really enjoys it. I join him for social events. We had lunch with friends today which was very, very good and amazing value. Lovely to enjoy real puddings and custard.
Lovely well manicured golf course. Amazing views over the channel and back to Deal and Ramsgate. Long course at over 6500yds with a slope rating of 137. Higher rating than Royal Cinque Ports GC and Augusta. Really worth playing before we get the next Covid lockdown. Watch the back 9, very sloping on
A very good downland course on top of the White Cliffs of Dover with 18 very good holes. It is close to the sea but it isn't a links, rather a mix of parkland and linksy holes. The 7th hole is a very special par four down towards the cliff edge. The greens are good and often are carved out of hillsi
