Lovely experience all round. Even though we’d only booked lunch (small plates only), which we had to bring forward due to the weather & tides, the hotel still arranged a pick up across the peninsula. Obviously Burgh Island Hotel is an art deco lover’s delight - better than expected in fact, but we were welcomed like full paying guests, with excellent service throughout and delicious cocktails to boot. Literally an experience to remember. And the “small plates” are not small so you basically get a full lunch. Our trip was a test and it passed with flying colours - so we’ll be staying next time!!
