Beautiful burger, perfectly cooked and utterly delicious.
Lovely beach with a great cafe and ample parking (national trust run). Lots of rock pools at low tide and can hire kayaks and paddleboards on the beach. We brought our own and at low tide it's a great place to paddle for all. Our favourite beach to visit when we are staying in Salcombe
Stunning beach which is very accessible from the carpark. The parking is free to National Trust members or £6 to folks who are not. That seems to be the standard for most beaches. There are toilet facilities and the cafe is decent. The beach and water were very clean, which correlated to the surfers against sewage app (fully recommend that folk get the app it's free and is brilliant). Dogs, with responsible owners were allowed on the beach.
What a cool place, well worth the visit. We dropped into Sough Molton Sands while going to a semi local Pick your own. A brief walk past the golf course and had lunch. Fantastic views, car park was full by the time we left but worth an early visit. NT Members park free.
Beautiful beach, family and dog friendly... deep sand
Beautiful Natural beach and waters. The water is clear and full of wildlife. We paddle boarded around and around looking at the kelp and sea grass. Stunning! There's places to eat and a nice size National trust car park where your greated with a smile. The beach has some sand but is mainly a really fine sort of shingle which if disabled you might struggle a bit to get up and down like my wife did and it clings to everything (it's a beach so that's what you get) if using a trolley the balloon type tires reccomended for sure! There is 2 roads down. I took the one which goes through Sutton with I believe the more passing places. But take it easy and please know how to reverse unlike a person we met. So I had to reverse back nearly half a mile to a passing point.... Stunning wild location and definitely worth a visit if the weather's being kind!
Being local South Milton sands is my go too place to watch the sunset. Its a mostly sandy beach in a scenic part of the Devon coast. Parking does get full quick on a hot day so get in early and enjoy!
Beautiful stretch of beach. We visited at low tide which presented a large beach which starts as golden sand and became more shingle as you got to the shoreline.
Dog friendly and free parking for National Trust members.
Beautiful beach with a long stretch of sand, or rocky area to scramble along. Car park is large with an overflow and is nearby, there's toilets (if open), cafe and kayak/paddle board hire (summer 2021). Great place to bring your own kayak, too.
Low tide reavels a vast and fascinating rock pool, and Thurlestone rock itself is amazing up close if you're brave enough to wade out to it at low tide, or you can swim through, or paddle through it on a boat/board at high tide.
But beware the tide, and water levels change quick here - Be careful not to get stranded in the rock pool if you're not dressed for swimming!
One of our favourite beaches! Free National trust parking for members, great cafe, loos and it’s dog friendly!
We just visited, the tide was out and it revealed crazy cool rocks to wander around!
One of our favourite beaches. Dog friendly all year round and the parking doesn't cost the earth, if you're a National Trust member then it's free. The cafe near the beach sells great food and is very popular but not cheap
