Just the BEST fresh fish and chips. Worth the queue.
Fish and chips were great , staff very friendly and helpful. My wife had the lunchtime special, very good value and still more than enough to eat. I went for the large fish and chips and was completely full at the end.
Nothing but praise for this lovely takeaway. Yes, had to queue for about 20 minutes but then food came freshly cooked and quick. £6.90 for single piece of cod (about half price of the rip off take away in Salcombe who tried to charge £12.50). Definitely worth the small drive from Salcombe to Kingsbridge for this reasonably priced, great tasting fish and chips. Thank you.
We found this to be a good, classic chippy. Food was good quality, hot and reasonably priced. We shared a small cod and chips between two adults and that was enough for a small main meal. Amazingly, it seems it is the only chippy for miles around! Certainly was popular on a Friday evening around 7.30pm but not silly queues. Recommend.
We gave up on Salcombe after discovering the only fish and chip shop with eye watering prices and came here instead. We had a large order for 12, but everything was made really quickly and to order, and the food was delicious. Best chips I’ve had in a long time, and the staff were really friendly. We’ll be back!
Lovely crispy fish and chips, cooked fresh. It's busy enough that the food turns over quickly so it's fresh. Large portions of fish are cooked to order so be prepared for a short (five minute) wait.
Partner and I went to the cod father and had, cheese burger, two cods a battered sausage with chips . I have to say enjoyed and thought all of the food was awesome, cooked well and was very tasty, good job guys thankyou.😋 also would like to say on behalf of my partner he absolutely loved your cheese burger
The best Fish and Chips I have ever had, I am usually not a big fan of fish but whenever I travel I always try one from a local one and this one took me by surprise. it's just gorgeous.

Fish was lovely! The queue was out the door, so had a fair old wait (30mins). Slightly smaller portion than expected but great quality.
Great chips. Other reviews complain about portion size but we found them more than adequate. Was a bit of a queue outside (but there was a local event on at the time).

Yum. Proper chippy. Their cod chips and curry sauce is damn good food.
