A big thank you to The Seven Stars ... I held my 50th birthday celebrations here on Sat 24th Feb 2018 :)
We all had a fabulous evening, the buffet food we'd arranged was great and went down very well. I personally can recommend the Prosecco!!! :)
The evening was everything I could have hoped for and the service great. :)
Had a lovely meal tonight. Lady was so accommodating considering we were not organised and hadn't booked. So reasonably priced with kids eating free and my favourite tonic to go with the local gin! Highly recommend. 😄
Down from Norwich visiting family second meal here this week and must say first class service and food every thing spot on thank you
Really nice , great pint , cracking food , good value ? So much better than the creeks !!!
Everyone enjoyed their food, and the beer was very good too. All round excellent experience. Thank you.
Always have wonderful food no matter what we choose from the menu.
The welcome excellent, the service excellent , the food excellent, overall a brilliant atmosphere , great night for our party of seven
Lovely cozy pub.Great choice in food.Highly recommended.I had 3 courses and was not disappointed with any of them.Great value for money and friendly and efficient staff. Will be eating here more often
Happened to come across this place this evening and we were very pleased. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, brilliant food at a great price and excellent genuine service from the staff. Will definitely be coming again.
Very nice staff and good food. The fish & chips and burger were delicious. In the kids menu would have been good to have another pasta option. Kids loved the tables you can draw on. We returned twice in the week we were in Devon. Thanks
The service and the food was amazing! The owner came to speak with us and had such a kind demeanour. The food quality was outstanding. The pork belly and the steak melted in my mouth and the Arancini was rich and flavourful with mushrooms.
It was my birthday and they bought out a scoop of ice cream with a candle and sang happy birthday and we had a little plaque saying ‘happy birthday’ with my name.
Such a great experience on our holiday. If we are ever back in the area we will be sure to book again.
Fitted us in at short notice, great food, with a good choice & not expensive. Wine list best I have ever seen in a pub, easy to decide what was a good choice. Service excellent, chef/owner South African, which tells us it should be good & well run, which it was.
Lovely pub. Great service and food. Not too expensive. Good sized portions. Lots of seating inside and out. Probably the best place to eat in Kingsbridge! Will definitely return one day.
Very nice pub in the centre of Kingsbridge. Lots of tables outside plus plenty of room indoors too. Nice, varied menu and excellent service. We had baked camembert for two. A little more sourdough toast would have been good but otherwise very nice. Then we had fish and chips and grilled sole - both excellently prepared and served. We'd had an ice cream earlier so didn't have dessert. With two Aperol spritzes and a half of bitter, the bill came to £66.
We wanted to give a tip but couldn't with our card. Management should rectify this as soon as possible.
A very pleasant experience and well worth a visit.
Went there at what must have been a quiet time of the week. Having said this, the members of staff were very pleasant and attentive and the food was good. A nice lunch.
Having been to them all, I’d definitely suggest that this is the best pub in Kingsbridge.
Such a warm and friendly welcome, from the initial call for a reservation, right up to the bill, with lovely bar service in between.
(And dog friendly…say no more!!)
Food quality and presentation was certainly beyond usual pub fare and very well priced.
Good selection of beers, not the usual rack of fizzy lager, and great selection of everything else; the restaurant wine choice was also very good, and we plumped for an excellent Albariño.
But above all, the staff were wonderful; we were looked after perfectly throughout our visit, and will certainly recommend, plus would visit again when we’re in Kingsbridge.
Thank you to all.

Am absolute delight to dine there for a classic delicious Sunday lunch. The beef (Angus) was so tender it hardly needed a knife and the veggie Wellington was fantastic. The chef, Maclaren, is so talented and a pleasure to meet.
Had a lovely Sunday Roast here today on the outside patio area. Loved the new chairs and generally the place looked really great and newly updated!
Menu looks really good and we’re Already planning our meals for next time!
Also our server Alpha was just the sweetest and so attentive. Service from everyone was top notch!
This is an A1 place to eat and drink. Have been twice and food and service have been excellent. No car parking but only a short walk from good parking space. I think it's the best place to eat in Kingsbridge.
