Tower Inn - Kingsbridge - Photo album

Lots of history entwined within and the team here seem to be doing all they can to run a somewhat unique offering in a unique location. Didn’t have a problem with reservations or being accommodated on a walk in basis. French chef producing great no fuss dishes! Wood fire roasted chicken, sea bream
CHECK THE OPENING TIMES AND CALL IF UNSURE!!!! If it is open, you're in for a treat!!! Proper country pub with good if expensive (the chef is a genius tho so expect that on top of his excellency). Good beers and a nice atmosphere make for a once in a lifetime pub visit.
Wow, just wow, a 13th century pub, with added character and probably the best Sunday lunch I've ever eaten out. It's truly the best, but beware, it's not for the faint hearted,it's a big portion! If I lived closer, it would be a regular haunt.
Really nice old pub great food and service. We were running late but the staff kept the pub open late to serve us food
2nd visit on our week in the village, excellent food on both occasions
Brilliant food operating out of the outside kitchen. Although not the greatest range of choices they make up for in quality
The food was amazing 👏 😍. Burger was delicious and juicy . 12 hours pulled pork was bang on. Chips were good not soggy. Chicken well cooked and well seasoned. Price wasn't too much for what we had . Over all a good evening with good food. Delicious and welcoming. Definitely coming back.
Had Sunday lunch here today. It was absolutely wonderful. Lots of delicious food too eat and great service.
We went today. Pub still refurbing after a fire. Truly wonderful. No kitchen yet but they're working on it. Fabulous music (blues), warm and welcoming staff/owner. Chef has a shed outside cooking amazing food. I had grilled chicken and my wife had mussels. They were both delicious. I marvel at what
Fabulous pub/restaurant in Slapton, with some great outdoor BBQ. Reasonably priced and huge (HUGE) portions. Definitely would return if we're in the area again. Plus there was a horse there - love that.
Wonderful old pub, hidden away in a quiet corner of a village. Popular for food the roast we had was really nice with plenty of veg and a good portion! Good selection of beers and a few ciders. It’s popular so you do need to book on the weekend.
A true gem , beautiful setting, great food, warm friendly service, and the sweetest most hospitable owners . When in Devon, The Tower Inn is a must!
Amazing old school pub . Friendly good people and old school charm .
Nice classy pub in an ancient building. Attentive staff and delicious (but pricey) meals. Candles brought out in the evening. Good selection of beers. Recommend you get there on foot due to the nearby narrow roads.
Stopped and had a Really good Sunday roast and the meat/veg were perfect. The staff were all efficient and friendly plus they allow dogs. Parking could be an issue if you decide to drive there as a previous review said it's probably best to park outside the village and take a short walk in.
What a great pub! Simple food beautifully cooked. Well worth a visit if you’re passing and even if you’re not passing worth making the effort to find it!!!
Sunday roast was a perfect experience in this lovely pub. Friendly staff and food could not have been better
Really delicious food in a great setting, would definitely come back again
I don't normally write reviews but last night's food was Superb! We had a last minute oven crisis with 5 hungry kids. We ordered takeaway and were blown away. The whole sea bass was one of the best we have ever had! Thank you and well done 👍👍
