What a fantastic place this is!!! Outstanding food and beer, genuinely one of the best burgers I've ever had! Chris the fella we spoke to and the rest of the team were all sound as a pound and they even gave my dog a beef sausage which he absolutely loved it. Highly recommended!!! 😊👍🏼
Wow just what was required to Kickstart our weekend away (and to very quickly forget the 6hr trip to get there).
Staff are incredibly friendly/accommodating/knowledgeable about the food and drinks, nothing phased or was to much trouble.
Chef is inventive and certainly knows what works well together

Very much updated from my last visit 10+ years ago, but still keeps it’s charm in one of the most picturesque villages in Devon! They may no longer serve scampi fries but the lovely little terrace on the brook at the back remains. A must on any visit to Salcombe/Kingsbridge area!
Wow we stopped for lunch and it was the best food I had eaten all week. Friendly staff and nice beer. We had booked for dinner at another place and wished we could have come back for dinner. We will be back and have dinner next time. Chef and team keep up the good work.

The food is superb, locally sourced and beautifully cooked. The setting is idyllic and relaxed with an excellent selection of wines and others drinks. Service was friendly and efficient and they offer a range of different events throughout the week which sound great!
