Had a lovely Fathers Day lunch here. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. We had the Sea Food sharing platter and Sunday roast. Very nice! My dog was very welcome in the pub and treated to gravy bones by the staff whilst we dined. Kingsand is a beautiful fishing village and our
Lovely big, pub grub, portions. Very accommodating of my wife's dairy intolerance and the food was of a good quality. Decent beer and very friendly staff. A good atmosphere with occassional live music. Would recommend!
A wonderful place, the building oozes history. This adds charm and quirkiness to the place. The room is very well furnished and fits in well to an old building where no wall or floor is straight. The staff are very friendly and helpful, even when the place is extremely busy. The food is good qualit
A nice Kingsand pub. The sing-along with the Rame male voice choir is quite jolly. My only slight criticism is the timing of the breakfast. Certainly in Australia (where I'm from) 9.00 am as the earliest (and only) time to have breakfast would be unheard of. But even in UK it seems too late for holi
We had a dinner there after the lovely paddleboard day out. The food was really good, portions were generous and fair priced. The staff was involved and polite. Definitelly we will back.
Had a beautiful coastal walk from Whitsand bay to Cawsand and visited this fab place for food and drinks. The food was fantastic; generous portions and very tasty. My partner had a sea food platter and I had the ploughmanโ€™s - both were delicious! Staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, even ma
We had a family meet up here, 3 nights with dogs , had a wonderful time. Staff were kind and friendly. Food was good pub grub. Rooms were perfectly serviceable, not luxury but just what we wanted. The villages are so pretty and since we holidayed here as children , it was a really happy stay.
Classic little pub, great beer garden. Watched the England ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง v. Australia ๐Ÿฆ˜ women's world cup game which was heart breaking (I'm obviously Aussie). Also DOG FRIENDLY! ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿถ
Very nice pub with rooms, very nice food, great breakfast, dog friendly through out.Just make sure you don't get room 3. As over the beer coolers!!,( noisy )
Great find after a long walk along the beach. Nice place with a nice atmosphere with a good selection of drinks. Cannot comment on accomodation as did not stay the night.
Lovely pub, family friendly and dog friendly. Good beer and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Would recommend ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ
Had a lovely lunch served by friendly staff. Beer is great too and the interior comfortable and clean. We shall be back.
At ยฃ14.95 for fish, chips and peas I expected a little more than frozen chips. Having said that the service was friendly and prompt and the cleanliness exceptional.
On a coastal path walk with my Grandchildren. We have arrived in Kingsand/Cawsand but its 2.30 and either pubs are closed or stopped serving!! Step up The Halfway House Inn!! Just wanted a snack so it was perfect with bowls of chips and garlic bread. Really nice decor, lovely staff and Landlord....
Last minute booking and the staffing could not do enough, really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb and I cannot fault it, even my wife and she's fussy. I would definitely visit again even though I'm from Plymouth and it's very close, we used it for a night as we were at a wedding at a n
