Excellent local pub in Nice small town. Great feature is they do not give you the first out of the pipes after a session so all the drafts are fresh which is good to know. Nice friendly people in there too. Also seem very proud of their real ales.
Felt like a good old pub. Nice staff and good drink range. Would visit again ππ
Great evening watching a rubbish England performance v USA. Atmosphere in pub was brill. Good beer selection and well placed TVs.
This original coaching inn dates from 1619. Unfortunately, up until fairly recently, the decor also appeared to be original! A new landlord has breathed new life into this pub, with a major refurbishment completed in February 2020. The single bar is still very traditionally laid out, to complement the low, beamed ceilings, yet it looks very smart and fresh. Such a shame that this occurred just before the first lockdown.
Iβm sure that when the world returns to some sort of normality this pub will thrive, as it deserves to!
Great Pub, nice atmosphere, very clean! 5βοΈ
A cracking boozer - warm, friendly, lively - so nice to find a pub that focuses on beer not food. May be a Tring Brewery Tap, 2 of theirs on hand pump + TT Landlord, topped up with out having to ask - always a good sign.
Small village pub with very nice staff and some special food prices for pensioners.
Nice pub on main street. Be careful of steps going down into it! Lots of lovely gins - I had a pineapple one tonight and he succumbed to a couple of TimothyTaylor beers. Couple of TVs showing football πͺ Ladies loos with complimentary products and some deodorants π
Really nice pub...slightly old fashioned , which is really it's charm..
Lots of nice ale at reasonable prices, plus the staff and clientelle are sensible and respectful..π
Canβt fault the beer - they have a fantastic selection of draught beers and lagers.
