We had Afternoon tea there yesterday, Lovely food, presented beautifully. All the staff was very polite. They accomadated for everything we needed. We will be lifelong customers now!!
The Castle Rising Tea Rooms are a delight. My wife and I stop off there most weeks for a refreshing drink, and maybe a tasty cake or pastries. The gardens provide a pleasant peaceful atmosphere, while the rooms inside have a unique character. Breakfast and meals are also served by the warm friendly staff.
Great service ! Breakfast come really quickly and place have such charming ambience! are welcome what is awesome ! Will be back !
Lovely find tucked into a corner of the village. Slices of cake are huge. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will try a meal here the next time we visit. Good menu choices.
My husband Steve and I had a lovely afternoon on Sunday and we look forward to making another visit when we can use the Audio. Very friendly staff in the shop. Thank you.
Thank you to all the girls at the tea rooms for helping us celebrate my little girls 2nd Birthday! x
Absolutely love this place. Been visiting Norfolk for about 6 years, sometimes 3 or 4 times a year, and if we don't visit here for breakfast or lunch, it's not a proper visit. Went again today on our way home from a week in Heacham and as usual Charlotte and Julie were great xx
Excellent food and service very friendly and helpful staff love going there
Love this place, so cute and cosy, had a fab afternoon tea here on the way home from the coast a few weeks ago and am looking forward to lunch there today. The cakes are amazing and it is so friendly.
Wonderful service lovely homemade food and a beautiful place to visit, shall definitely be returning. X
I loved the smell and taste of the cheese in the ham and cheese sandwich. It serves with tomato which tasted so organic as well.
The outdoor seats are nice specially on a sunny day. I would recommend here for a quick bite if you’re visiting Castle Rising castle.
Lovely relaxing tea room with a garden to eat in too.
Order at counter, pay & they bring to you.
Friendly & helpful staff.
Toilets.
Lots of walks round the village or castle.
Old red phone box has books inside for sale.
Lovely tea room with a perfect sun trap of a garden.
The oreo chocolate cake was moist and tasty, though my coffee was a touch bitter and a bit too hot but otherwise fine.
Came on a Sunday for a lunch stop on our walk. I had a Sausage sandwich. Very expensive £10, but nice, chunky bread, crisps and salad. The bonus was they had wholemeal bread, which is great because I can't eat white. Some, who I was with had chocolate cake and the slice was huge! It was busy and all our food came in good time. We all sat in the garden with our dogs.
Perfect for an outdoor breakfast. Lovely staff and all the food was freshly cooked.
Stopped off here whilst driving to Sheringham to visit the castle and have lunch. Nice hidden place with a cozy feel. We sat outside as the weather was fine and ordered 2 Sausage Sandwiches with a pot of tea for 2 which came out after 10 minutes. Serving staff were friendly, food was tasty and filling and we had a really nice lunch. Seemed good value for money.
Very quaint tea room with perhaps the poshest twee customer toilet I've ever known! Food was nice and the garden pleasant when sunny like on our visit. Had run out of a few items when we visited but what we did have was good (cheese scone, plain scone, brownie and a fudge). Service a little slow but not massively so.
Absolutely beautiful gardens. Service and food was really good. Highly recommended
This place has only ever generated great experiences for me and anyone I have taken there.
Would always recommend booking as it’s so popular- however I have never been turned away
Great food, excellent service - friendly staff
Popped in for coffee and the biggest scone ever! Lovely garden, friendly servers, good value.
I would only ask for better signage for the car park, as its quite a long way past the tea shop.
