Fabulous meal last night, cannot wait to return :)
We walked in to get out of the rain for a spontaneous late lunch early dinner. Was greeted and seated quickly
Such a lovely restaurant with a calm relaxed atmosphere.
Staff were attentive and friendly
Great varied selection of food and was delicious 😋
Love this place, if you want to enjoy a coffee or a meal by yourself or with company somewhere with more history than you can shake a stick at, this is your place.
It's very welcoming with fabulous service. I had a quiet evening coffee upstairs on a comfortable sofa. I've not eaten here for some time. There's plenty of outdoor seating for you to enjoy. The facilities are very good and well kept. With a lift to the upper floor where facilities include an accessible toilet.
I was able to enjoy the view across the River Great Ouse to West Lynn. It's a great way to watch the spectacular sunsets here.
Marriott's Warehouse Trust cares for the historic warehouse and models of King's Lynn's heritage buildings, carefully crafted by Fred Hall and on permanent display on the 2nd Floor.
"The building known today as Marriott's Warehouse dates from the 1580s and is Grade II* Listed. The name is taken from the Marriott brothers, who owned or leased several granaries on the South Quay in the latter part of the 19th century.
Between 1550 and 1700 most of the warehouses along the Ouse bank were rebuilt in brick, but Marriott's Warehouse retained a lower storey in stone, possibly from the dissolved Friaries. It was an important warehouse for trade in salt, beer, wine and building materials. Ships would dock inside to unload cargo, its stone lower storey protecting against the tides as it stood out into the Wash, long before the quayside was built up around it."
My husband bought me here for a birthday treat, and it didn't disappoint.
The presentation of the food looked fabulous and tasted lovely.
I had the blade of beef and hubby had the fish crumble.
The merlot wine was delicious and went very well with the food.
I followed with the sticky toffee pudding which was a little different to what I am usually served with elsewhere. There was a different taste to it which took away the toffee flavour, for me, anyway.

Went for an evening meal on what was a rainy day. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming at the door and got us in and warming up quickly. We were given menus and a few minutes to decide. Service was okay, but could have been a bit faster. The starters weren't too far off being a main, but the asparagus & blue cheese tart was phenomenal.
For mains I had the roasted pepper & lamb Bolognese, it was amazing!!!! The quality was tremendous and if anything the portion was too large!
All-in-all, it was a good evening but the restaurant is just missing something. It was a bit lackluster. Not sure I'd rush back, but I would recommend going for the roasted pepper & lamb Bolognese 😍
The place is awesome, riverside, landscape, service is worth spending money. Both front and kitchen staff make the place friendly, managed by expert hands.
We had the pork belly and the tuna salad and both were excellent and good value for money and they are dog friendly!
I read the reviews that said this place was good. Having been I have to agree. The food and service were excellent. The portion size was good as well. I only gave it a 3 for atmosphere as I went in early and was the only one there. I am sure that later in the evening this would also score a 5
Just walked by and thought we would have some lunch today. Service was excellent. Really delicious food (Omelette) salad and chips. Cuddles by the Quay drink was very nice too 😋👌
Visited as a couple for a late lunch on Sunday with my partner.
The service, food and picturesque views of Marriott's was all sublime and would heavily recommend it to anyone in the King's Lynn area.
We also caught sight of the roast dinners that looked epic as well and we will definitely be back to try!
I would heavily recommend booking before you visit to avoid disappointment as despite the large size of the venue, it can get very busy!
We, visited here on Friday 3rd on our way Snettisham for the weekend. We were a party of 4 with 2 dogs, not only were they welcoming to us, they were amazing towards my 2 pooches. The food was lovely and can definitely recommend their club sandwiches which were yum! We liked it that much we went back on our way home this morning Monday 6th for breakfast again we arrived with a warm welcome. Their breakfast was delicious, and they had a fantastic selection of individual items, so you can make your own breakfast if you don’t want their set menu. For 4 people on both occasions we paid roughly £52 which is very reasonable for generous portions and drinks. I would highly recommend especially if you’re looking for a dog friendly place!
Lovely food, which is all freshly prepared. Nice location in an old building on the quayside. The only downside was that the server managed to tip a whole glass of wine over one of our guests! It was obviously an accident, and they were very apologetic, but it would have been nice to offer a free drink or something.
We have eaten here twice before without fault and thoroughly enjoyed each visit. This time, due to a fault in their delivery of our order to the kitchen, we were "lost" in the system. We waited 45 minutes, then queried the delay. The end result was that our meals were presented with full genuine apologies and an explanation by the owner. We were not charged for the excellent steak meal, plus a voucher for our next visit was given. We will be returning definitely and I fully recommend visiting this restaurant . I would have loved to have given 5 stars on the service
Great food, service and atmosphere 👌. I would definitely recommend it.
What a beautiful venue and so much history behind it. The authentic feel of it’s history remained with beautiful decor and there was a hidden museum/gallery upstairs that gave an on-site of this beautiful town in Kings Lynn. The brunch was great and customisable too. The service was outstanding, the waiter kindly gave some advise on what to see and do in the town.
The owners friend had a lot of stunning paintings around the restaurant which you could purchase. They were underpriced for the hand painted quality.
Super friendly and generous portions in a beautiful restored former museum alongside the river over 2 floors. Amazing views of the river with indoor and outdoor options. Call in advance to book as they get very busy. Tapas, vegan and plenty of meat and fish options. Specialist in seafood, try the seafood platter.
Upstairs they still have some exhibits on display including miniature houses, which are lovely.
Staff extremely good and helpful.
A really lovely experience at the Marriott's Warehouse. We don't get to go out often so this was a special treat for us; we weren't disappointed.
I booked over the phone for half 7, we turned up at 7 planning on a drink at the bar. No need, our table was ready despite being packed. We sat straight down; I had a beautifully presented Strawberry Daiquiri, my partner a vodka and coke & we looked at an extensive but not overwhelming menu. Amazing choices, we decided on a slow cooked venison casserole and a sausage and mash, plus some starters including a cranberry and brie parcels special.
Phenomenal. Portions were almost too much, flavours were incredible and the service staff were excellent. We had a really wonderful time, and we'll easily be back.
2 starters, 2 mains, a cocktail and two vodka and cokes came to £73~. That's more than fair in our opinion. Cannot recommend enough. 5*
