Definitely recommend! Delicious food, friendly staff, quick service (even when they're very busy), great atmosphere and the beer garden is idyllic on a summer's evening with all the beautiful birdsong. The perfect country pub to end up at after a long walk.

Really enjoyed our experience here Saturday evening. We sat in the garden and had a great halloumi salad and tasty delux chicken burger between us. Very friendly staff and tasty food in generous portions. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

The Wednesday Walkers, all 15 of us plus three dogs, just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff for a really lovely lunch today. The food was delicious, especially the seafood risotto which was to die for! This is our third visit to the pub, some of our party have also done the Sunday dog walking and lunch, which was also greatly enjoyed. The pub is run by an all girl team and has lots of special touches only girls would think of! Big thanks to Tania and the team. We will be back!

Lovely place. Lovely food. Lovely people. Will definitely be back. However the choice of ales could be better, only one on when we visited.

Amazing Sunday roast here - probably one of the best roasts we have ever had at a pub. Attention to detail to every item on the plate which is rare! The cauliflower cheese was also cheesey and not bland and watery which we seem to find in so many pubs! Also very dog friendly! Honestly a must visit if in the area!

Fantastic Sunday Lunch. Delicious food. Nice cosy pub. Service was a tiny bit slow - but they were busy. Just wish they had better beer...

The food was exceptional. We came here as it was listed in the Good Food Guide, and I must say that it didn't disappoint. Located in a beautiful tiny street in the Cotswolds, very near to other lovely places, makes it a great stop for a day off exploring the area, or just worth the visit for what could be the best pie in the country. On a sunny day, you can also enjoy the back garden picnic tables.

They made a great effort to find a dish that suited my wife, who has very difficult dietary requirements - and succeeded brilliantly and in a lovely manner. My meal, from the menu, was delightful too. Class building with owners and waiting-on staff to match.

We stayed very nearby for two weeks and used the Halfway a fair bit. Amazing food and friendly efficient staff. From venison to fish, every dish was beautifully cooked and the black treacle date pudding was fantastic! I recommend booking as it is ,quite rightly, very popular. The halfway is not the cheapest place nor the most expensive but for the sheer quality it is easily the best in the local area.

Wow, three of us thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch here at The Halfway. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. Faultless, thank you. We will be returning, but in the meantime we’ll be spreading the word…

What a meal! Some of the best pub food I’ve had in a long time. Really lovely interior, but we chose to sit outside. Very lovely staff. We can’t wait to come back. The only negative was that if you sit outside you have to come in and pay as you go. They explained that people had been doing runners, which is such a shame. Hopefully they can get a card pre-authorisation system in place soon.

Amazing food and lovely service. Quite possibly the best pub food we've ever had. The ham hock to share was soooo good . Would love to come back next time we are in the area. Nice welcome for our dog too

Fantastic pub in the heart of the Cotswolds with very welcoming landlords. Lovely menu serving great food and excellent beers, the ham hock was amazing. Accommodation was superb, very comfortable beds and well presented, breakfast in the morning was lovely. A real treat and to get away for a night and excellent value too.

Has to be the best meal I have eaten since arriving in the UK. We were 'walk-ins" but they graciously accommodated us. Service was great, food was outstanding. Well worth the drive.

Thoroughly enjoyed the medium rare steak they prepared. The cheese pie with crispy kale was delicious too. Restaurant staff were very friendly and it wasn’t very noisy/rowdy during dinner time.

You could shut your eyes and stick a pin in the menu and be happy. Everything is delicious and well worth the price. Every time I eat here I say ‘that was the best I’ve tasted’ it’s true. Best ham hock, best lamb, best Cauli flour soup , best sticky toffee/treacle . Don’t think twice. Just book yourself a table

Took my parents for dinner there and the food and service was excellent. Imaginative menu (not just pub grub) and I highly recommend trying the warm scotch egg with pickled walnut sauce. Pub had a great atmosphere with some people having dinner and others stood by the bar and in the snug area. Dogs are welcome. There’s some great walks from Kineton so a good place to reward yourself with some great food afterwards.

Lovely traditional country pub with new owners doing great food. Last days of summer sitting outside - what's not to love!
