What can I say? Delicious!!! Food is amazing, staff are very friendly and I love the chilled atmosphere. Priced as you would expect in a tourist spot, but well worth the money. Already been back and I've only been here 2 days. Yum 😋
Lovely restaurant in a pretty village. Excellent food and good service morning brunch and mains after 12 pm . Indoor and outdoor seating gets busy in good weather. Parking and toilets drinking water dispenser. And ice cream stall. The Eggs Royal really very good.
We absolutely loved the team, there is a good vibe of the people serving, genuine heart for clients. We had an amazing white wine which marked well with the scallops. What a lovely surprise of a welcoming pub in this area of outstanding natural beauty!
What a gem of a place in a beautiful setting. The service is superb; welcoming, helpful and efficient. The menu offers a great choice for vegans and even offers a mouthwatering vegan and gluten free dessert. All the dishes were well presented, beautifully cooked and tasty. I had the Gluten Free chic
GLORIOUS – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
(Especially for Coast Walkers – and Vegans!)
Aside from being just about the only restaurant in Kimmeridge Bay, and thus the only dining option for walkers stopping there on the Southwest Coast Path, this is one of the loveliest places I've ever stopped to drink and eat
I had the best cream tea ever today. Ignore the price, expensive at £9 but fresh, warm, large scones, tasty and ample cream and jam, served beautifully with a big pot of tea. Fabulous.
My daughter and I both had a delicious lunch with a mocktail.
Scampi the best for a long time and a very delicious fish finger sandwich.
The restaurant was very well run and all the staff were friendly and efficient.
Thank you very much.
A ride warm welcome, good bottled ale and lovely cheesy chips. Great after a long walk and the dog was welcomed in too.
Easily the best dinner I've had in a restaurant for years. Mackerel starter was incredible, as was the salmon nicoise salad. You can tell the chef team know what they're doing. I found ordering at the bar a bit odd considering the quality of everything else but still definitely a five star review.
Revisit to Clavells after a long time. Since last visit it has been renovated very tastefully.
Love the colour scheme and shiny varnished table tops.
Always busy especially as it was half term.
Food and service was excellent.
Again we will be back as it is local to us.
Recommend this place to any o
Only stopped for refreshing drink after a lovely walk around Kimmeridge. £6 for a Pimm's and Lemonade but worth every penny. Great service and really friendly staff. Most enjoyable experience.
Came here for a a change of scenery, what a great spot nice and open plenty of seating outside. Cream Tea seemed like it was baked onsite it was that fresh.
Was looked after by Victoria a well mannered, attentive member of staff.
If I'm in the Kimmeridge area again I will be stopping by.
Four of us breezed in on a Sunday lunchtime late December. although the place was full the staff were able to get us seated at a table we had a selection of sandwiches and mackerel the food and service were really first class. Will definitely go again when we are in the area.
My husband Thomas & I took our young daughter to this delightful restaurant last night as a spur of the moment decision having decided not to stay at our campsite & do something else. We made a great choice as it was a very friendly restaurant fulfilled with laughter & good energy, a charming owner,
Beautiful restaurant in a lovely setting. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly x
